We lost him because he has turned to the dark side and gone to play for Florida A&M instead of LSU

So much for Bama being his favorite school.

The people from Jennings just thought it made their town more important if he was going to Bama.

Way to take a shot at an entire city arse. None of us wanted him to go to bama and it's been known for awhile now down here that he had no intention to go to bama. We hate bama as much as anyone down here. I enjoy Bama losses more than LSU wins and that is shared by mostly everyone I know here

Good running back. Too bad he picked a school that has no idea how to use them

IDK. They got that OC Mazzone. Johnathan Franklin and Paul Perkins were really good under him at UCLA. I think Sumlin is trying to establish a running game like his first year in the SEC with Kingsbury as his OC.

Agreed, plenty of LSU flags flying in Jennings LA

No need to slam the city, Etienne is a good back and not going to LSU and time will tell if we made a mistake in not offering or going after this kid harder. We all wish LSU would have signed Prescott at QB years ago but we didn't

Can't get em all, only 25 a year

Good luck with that whole thing once Swap Copter is fired.

What running game? In 2012 the leading aggie running back had a grand total of 808 yards. The only reason their team rushing total was high was due to Johnny Manzeil pretending to read a defense on pass plays then tucking and running.

The QB is a part of the running game, and actually several of his bigger runs were on QB draws. Remember those great running teams Florida had with Tebow? The #1 RB never had more than 764 yards in any of Tebow's 3 starting years, yet they had over 3100 in his last 2 years and 2640 in his 1st year (13 games).

Even last year they had a 1100 yard rusher and seems like they are starting to understand that you have to run the ball to be successful in the SEC.

Jennings has same colors as AtM, didn't want to buy new clothes.

How does that counter the assertion that A&M doesn't know how to feature a RB?

What are you talking about? That quote you replied to I was telling him that a QB is a part of the running game.

I already said TAMU had an 1100 yard rusher last year that carried the ball 242 times. I already said that they just got the OC Mazzone from UCLA that always featured a running back.

Expect a decommitment announcement soon. He's changed his mind after some things that happened. Saban is pushing HARD for him.

Saw this kid at an All star baseball tournament this weekend. He is put together and looks physically ready to play SEC football. His dad is a nice outgoing man. Hope he does well at LSU or at an out of conference school.

Why didn't LSU offer him? Existing Depth Chart, Other players, Akers or are there just other backs even besides Akers that LSU wants.
