It's really kind of odd as a Texas fan. I'm not used to having anything to care about this late. Mack likes to get his recruits tied up early.
Word is that Jeffcoat and Hicks are both Muschamp's responsibility and that's why we're seeing some late commits.

Perhaps Hicks and Jeffcoat are elite recruits and could give a crap about Mack Brown's rules

Perhaps Jeffcoat knows where he's going, but is holding out to help his dad recruit to UH. He's not going to UH or he would've committed early to help their recruiting. By holding out his dad can lie to recruits and tell them he's coming.
