Is he a strong commitment? I heard a rumor that bama may be in the picture...maybe even oregon. hope not.

Yeah, pretty solid. Might want some trips, though.
Posted on 8/12/10 at 9:43 pm to CamdenTiger
hes stayign with lsu i would want to take free trips across the country to..
Posted on 8/12/10 at 10:05 pm to LSUcmillion
If I was him I would want to vist
Washington, Oregon, UCLA, Miami
You can't blame a guy for wanting to take free trips and be catered to.

If I was 17-18 and had a D-1 future, I would soak up as much of that as possible. I cant pass any blame at all for a kid "showing interest"

I know Saban wants him bad, so him showing some interest and taking a visit there isnt a big deal, its almost expected after the coach visits you

One of the espn affiliate recruiting writers got some quotes from him a couple of months ago suggesting that he *really* liked Oregon and wanted to hear from them, but that the staff was not contacting him.
This may be because this time around the coaches have decided not to initiate contact with recruits supposedly "committed" to other schools. (This is what we've heard anyway.) If Jarvis sets up a visit with Oregon and gets offered, Oregon may have a chance to pry him away from you - but that's a *big* if.

This is a good bet.

since he doesn't play for john curtis, saban will probably not get him.

Oregon is true thats actually his favorite if it was up to him. I haven't heard anything on Bama but it wouldn't suprise me.

I don't believe it either. Aren't he and Freak now our best recruiters, as Russell Shepard was a couple years back?

he's all lsu and it isnt up for debate /thread

if we lose z. lee then look for landry to get concerned since our only qb will be a 3 year project named rivers. georgia has murray, auburn has frazier, alabama has sims, florida has driskel. for obj miami has bridgewater. this might cause a lot of rethinking by a wide receiver.

Jarvis was at Alabama's scrimmage today.
