This is what happens when you have publicly state your having a DL of near 6 players. Some feel that they obviously can compete, but why. We took people like Jordan Berry when we have Roy committed. He may want to be the bell cow of the Dline class. take 4-5 strong players.

Not. At. All.
I’m saying they probably truly are being a neutral party. At face value that’s not bad, but when your competition has no rules it’s a problem.
And my point is do you think someone like Saban would let there be a highschool on his campus that wasn’t 100% in the pocket of Alabama? He would put a puppet coach in there instantly.
They would be indoctrinated. It would be like Hitler’s Youth
I’m just saying that’s the difference.

Would’ve liked to see him in a role like Kardell Thomas took last year being the face of the class, helping recruit other players.

Yet supposedly he is very high on Bama who took about 50 of them in their 19 class. They currently have 2 4 stars for 2020 and are in the mix for at least 2 more. If Bama is an option then it isn't about playing time or being the "bell cow".

Just recently, February 11, he said on his Twitter that “Just because I’m taking visits to others schools, doesn’t mean I’m going to decommit from LSU.”

Why give a verbal if you aren't 100% sure? I understand if the kid wants to take trips and have fun, but......

1) Commit VERY early
2) say you 110%
3) Wait a couple months and be ALL in
"like family"
4) Decommit saying no interviews,
respect my decision!! GOD is
GREAT!!
5) Get tons of attention and "stuff"
6) Go to Bama and sit for 2 or 3 years
behind 10 other DT's
7) Recruiting is a laughable lie

Someone posted that U-High is cracking down on the increased recruiting going on at the school and that the head coach was being replaced. I wonder if Roy and his family are planning for him to transfer. I'm not familiar with how things go at U-high these days, but it used to be that you either had to be wealthy or be the child of a tenured professor to attend there. If Roy's family has money or connections, he might be transferring to IMG or something.
