James Simon Rpm 'd to Texas, However...

Watching his film, he looks to have average speed at best, on a field with 2a athletes. Even his hudl profile says he runs a 4.6 forty (which means its probably closer to a 4.7) At 5'11 200lbs its not like he can be a power back. Lindsey's speed and vision jumps off the screen. Every one will probably melt if he ends up at Texas, but I truly think time will tell that LSU ended up with the better back.

He probably looks faster on tape playing the type of competition you play at Calvary.

He's a good one I'd like for LSU find a way to get him on the roster. Can't get them all I guess.

Heck im saying he doesn't look fast even against that competition.

Time will tell but RB isn’t a position we are really hurting at. We need to focus money and resources to our Dline and secondary. We have plenty of weapons on offense and an elite Oline will make really good RB’s look elite.

I mean, they beat Westgate, Byrd, Captain Shreve, Parkview, St. Charles and Newman last year. There’s good football players on all of those teams.

We have 2 scholarship RB's that will still have eligibility in 2025 vs like 7 or 8 defensive linemen.

I like Lindsey and Berry better as well, let’s see if we can find a PWO with some size.

You can’t keep a couple of strays from jumping it for money or to avoid a stacked roster.

Simon is a different back than Lindsey.
Simon is just as good today as he was before he was about to commit to Texas.
Sucks he may end up elsewhere.

Simon reminds me a lot of Arian Foster, looks like he is smooth and glides. He is a stud but we already are gonna be stacked with Durham, Berry, etc.

Yes. One guy is a RB, one guy is an athlete playing RB

I wish somehow we could get them all just so no one else can have him

Does it matter if 1 guy is an athlete if he plays the position very well.

Even if he commits to texass, it doesn’t mean we will stop pressing for him and ultimately end up signing him.
If he doesn’t, well….bye
