I agree here, when LSU's offense blows up this year and it will compared to recent years, these kids will be lining up to play for Canada. We will have many more options anyways.
I still believe Aranda has yet to hit any kind of peak here at LSU on the field or in the recruiting game. I just believe real soon LSU will be able to go anywhere and get who we want on defense once his scheme is totally exposed.
The right mix of talent but a senior laden roster will be when this defense is peaking, whenever that is. This D is going to be rough when it really sets in here at LSU. Hopefully that coincides with an offense just as nasty.
We have the right guy for defense and I have a feeling that Canada is that guy for offense, we'll see what we have for our ST. One thing is certain, I'm pumped to see the results of it all. HTTDB

In general I understand the sentiment. To me I get more excited about recruiting studs in the trenches. That's where it all starts...LOS.
O's tenure will likely sink or swim based on whether he can improve the talent in the trenches and either Brennan or Narcisse panning out.

"Florida??"
Typical kid, he is supposedly trying to decide between TCU and LSU and frickin chooses Florida.

Based on Chase's... what's the word I'm looking for... schizophrenia... I say keep the door open but put resources on others on the board, now, heavily. If no one can get a read on him including LSU's staff you can't really plan accordingly and have to do what's in our school's best interest.
Yes that would include Bolden. But also flipping Heath and going after a couple others out there [harder].
Considering the timing, Bolden and Heath especially, this should be a true "other fish in the sea" reaction by LSU.

An odd choice, to be sure, but not upset about it. He's good, but not a generational talent. LSU will get receivers as good or better. Not a huge deal.

We'll be fine. If anything it shows Marshall he will be "The Man" of this WR class.
But to those of you who are high on Chase, we still have plenty of time to get him on our side, if in fact that's where he wants to be when it comes to NSD.

Well that was a shocker! Florida is one of the few offenses that I would rate worse than ours.

Who cares, if he doesn't want to go to Lsu then so be it. If he can't see the potential with the combination of Canada combined with Brennan/narcise, then good luck to him.

He's going to really enjoy that coaching change in a year, but hey good luck in jean short world.

Lol at you people getting mad at a high school kid. Recruiting is such a shitshow now. Commitment does not mean anything anymore . If he goes to FL good for him if he switches and comes to LSU good for him. Alot of these kids don't even stay with a team when they do make it to a campus anyway. I don't loose sleep over any of this anymore.

I'd say a lot of our recruits will flip or stick based upon what the offense has done....
there are still a lot of "What ifs" and the proof is based upon what's on the field (sink/swim Canada it's on you)
I'd say if our offense is what we hope, this kid flips back, and we get Marshal as well.... If our offense DUDS we lose Marshal and lose some that we have currently committed

Don't care. But I'll make sure I let you know I was right when he doesn't commit to LSU.

Funny you would think of DJ Welter.

Coach O needs to step up his recruiting. It's one thing for Saban to come in a get a guy but to allow Jimmy Mac to do it is quite another.
I'm okay with throwing a bone to a Florida school every once in a while.
LSU has signed some good players out of Florida - Patrick Peterson, Kevin Tolliver, John Battle, etc
If LSU gets Surtain Jr. I'll call it a good swap and be more than okay with it.

would have committed to TCU if ESPN didn't jack his announcement around, put TN in his recent TOP 3, now commits to Fla after a weekend visit..........
I thought it was the NFL network that jacked him...

This.... A verbal, or Twitter commitment, doesn't mean jack shite.. When he signs the paper, I'll believe it...
Perhaps he wants to see what Canada's offense does...? Who knows....
