I just ran into Karr’s AD. He said “it is a possibility, he lives in the district”

IMG is the favorite, but if he stays in LA it will likely be Karr.

Based on his 1+ years as a college DL coach?

Based on hearing him speak and teach. Why can't yall ever admit when another team has a great coach?

If I'm his father, I'm listening to Bo Davis first. He's got the skins on the wall. LSU's DL looked the best it has looked in a long time vs USC.

What’s ironic is Eric, graduated from Karr.

Forgive me if I’m wrong, but even if he lives in the district, he can’t just transfer and play immediately, can he?

And if he didn’t live in the district, how’d he go to SA?

East St. John is a possible destination ? Or Karr ? Regardless, him staying in Louisiana and reclassifying at a high school in state makes me feel a whole lot better about his recruitment. A whole lot better.

We on the recruiting board as a publicity stunt should start a gofund me to get him to stay here. I'll put up 100.

If he ends up at Karr that doesn’t make me feel great since the coach recruiting him to USC is from Karr.

Anyone can go to St. Augustine, a select school, no matter where they reside.

If they don't live in the district, they would have to sit out a year, as I understand it.

In the meantime, the season is underway.

Florida has been playing ball for weeks.

But if he transfers during a school year, he can play at a different school?

May be true, as I don’t know the rules… but seems that would be more common for kids not playing at select schools to transfer mid year.

Keeping him in Algiers would be good.

Frank Wilson attended Karr, coached at Karr, and was his (Henderson) teacher&coach.

I remember when #1 over player in the country Dylan Moses left for IMG and then we had to "settle" for Livonia athlete Patrick Queen.

If he comes here awesome! If he doesn't then best of luck.

Also would this transfer be for athletic reasons? No way it isn’t since it’s based on Stewart not being able to reclassify… You know St Aug won’t want to just let him play for a district rival…

He isn’t interested in playing - he could sit out and reclassify and demand as much money as he wanted off what he already has done.

He is interested in playing, in college. When you are, because of your size and talent, a lock for the NFL barring some type of catastrophic injury, then the main goal is to get to the NFL as soon as is physically possible.

An extra year of an NFL salary, for him, could wind up being generational wealth, as well as getting your service time started sooner when it comes to retirement benefits from the League.

I am fully supportive of him getting started sooner, and so is LSU. Don't think the program and by extension the University isn't doing everything in their power to ensure he can reclassify. LSU can actually help him more than any other program can in this regard.

I just hope that the people that were swallowing the IMG/USC thing whole realize that while he may not be a stone cold lock to LSU, he damn sure aint no lock to USC.
