Dukke, most LSU fans don't have a problem with him signing with another school. We have a problem with this:
"Jackson, who had publicly maintained his LSU commitment until Thursday, said he informed Tennessee coaches of his final decision Tuesday night after having indicated to them during his official visit three weeks ago that UT was where he wanted to play.
Guidry said he informed LSU Coach Les Miles of his son’s decision via telephone prior to the press conference. Jackson has not spoken to Miles, Guidry said, and took no calls Wednesday night after missing school earlier that day."
So, he claims to be "all LSU" when he decided three weeks ago that he wanted to go to Tennessee, told the Tenn coaches two days before he signed, and then didn't even have the stones to call Miles. His father called him the day of the press conference.
That, my friend, is bullshite.

YES (since we love using caps so much). If you are a fan of Tennessee football, then you're not an LSU fan. No LSU fan would ever don the neon puke orange of our inbred conference rivals to the north. You sir, are a volunteer, and I suggest you go find a few other vols and have a nice little vol circle jerk while we Tiger fans discuss Tiger football

I have NEVER said what the kid was right!!! BUT, You make it sound like the world is coming to an end!! LSU fans MUST NOT have much confidence in the rest of this class if they are getting all upset over 1 PLAYER!!!

Its bull shite because He was "locked down" after his visit here(after the UT visit). The TSD article where they asked him and his father about LSU and them saying, "LSU has nothing to worry about"...again, after the UT visit where he supposedly gave a silent. Why not be decent people and tell LSU so we can turn the heat on Darren Myles JR. or other prospects?

What about the other kid that we would have offered his scholarship too? There is probably another player out there who had to sign to a school they didn't like as much as LSU because we told them we didn't have enough scholarships or because we felt we need not need anymore players at that position. That's the dirty thing that upsets me. Don't let your own selfish ways affect other people like that.

We have confidence in our class - it's top rated. But what we don't like is our staff being played by Tennessee and this kid.
He knew he was going to Tenn. He should've done what other recruits like TR did. Let it be known that he was no longer "a solid verbal" and was considering other schools.
Then we wouldn't have a problem with it. We wouldn't be as angry. Cause we probably could've signed another player to give us more depth in the secondary.

Dukke, the world isn't coming to and end. LSU has a passionate fanbase. If you are indeed an LSU fan, you already know that. We love our university and our football program. People protect what they love.
Darrington Sentimore chose not to attend LSU. Ok, fine. Janzen Jackson intentionally misled the university, one can only assume out of spite. If he wanted attention, he should have said he was up in the air and hadn't made a decision yet. But the only possible reason to say that you are "all LSU" when you have already told another coach that you are going to play for him is to try to tie up a scholarship, give the program a black eye, scare away another recruit, or some combination of those three.
LSU fans feel that Jackson attacked something that we love, thus the impassioned response.

I will say this and LEAVE!! Joe Mcnight DIDn"T Come to LSU and they had grown men in there 40's and 50's acting like there WHOLE day was ruined!! I just don't get that. NOW Its kinda funny that LSU won the NC WITHOUT JOE!!! Like I said I don't think what the kid did was right, BUT you guys are making WAY to big a deal of it!!!! I understand losing out on getting a chance at another DB, BUT MAN don't wish bad things on the kid. BTW I am MORE OF A PASSINATE LSU FAN THAN ALL IN THIS THREAD!! DEAL WITH IT!!!!!!!!!

Dukke, typing in caps doesn't make you a passionate LSU fan. Neither does using lots of exclamation points for no apparent reason.
However, doing both in the same post does make you look like a jackass
