Top 2021 QB Cole Lourd from Los Angeles Brentwood School talks about his weekend trip to #LSU and his connection to the program

Paid article and I don't have access but the first sentence says "Cole Lourd has a major family connection to LSU".

Family is from my hometown of New Iberia. Uncle is Brian the multimillionaire Hollywood producer. If the kid has the skills, he would jump all over LSU.

Kid has been wearing purple and gold since the crib. Book it. IF HE HAS D1 level skills he will be in BR. That being said I dont know enough about his play or film to know one way or the other.

I hope so.

Never too early to start recruiting players.

Doesn't matter - you know that old expression, "Starve a cold, feed a fever"?

This is Louisiana baws - we feed ALL of it. Colds, fever, the flu, pancreat..(well, maybe not pancreatitis or liver disease), but we should definitely feed "puberty" (whatever that is).

Class of 21' would likely be 15 so barely.

Watched his highlights and he has nice touch on his deep throw and a quick release. He also throws on the move well. He's 6'1 so if he grows another inch or two and gets a little stronger he could be a very good QB.

Could also be talking about his very successful dad.

Coincidentally, my friend from Lafayette, La son, is his backup. So, Brentwood, California's starting qb and back up each have a parent who grew up 25 miles from each other.

Good we need a qb who is used to getting flushed out of the pocket every play instantly.
