It doesn't matter if we sign the best JUCO and HS quarterbacks. JJ will be the starter next year.

I doubt JJ will be the starter next week, much less next year. Having to choose between Lee or JJ is like having to choose between a root canal or colonoscopy; a bad choice or a worse choice.
If (WHEN!!!) Z-Man Mettenberger signs with LSU there is no way he wouldn't start. Had he not been a drinking womanizer in Athens, he'd likely been UGA's starting QB this year instead of Murray. Regardless, LSU needs to focus on the rest of this season, one game at a time. The team can worry about the 2011 season after the bowl game.

Have you seen Stephen Rivers's stats this year? Oh I know he plays on a terrible team, but have you seen them?
I am scared to death if the future of the program rests on the skinny shoulders of a RS Freshman who couldn't possibly be developed until he's a RS Junior in the best case scenario possible. Now with the Crowton/Miles duo developing him, he has no shot.
Pray for Mettenberger to come here and that his HS/UGA/JUCO coaching is enough to overcome the shite QB coaching he will receive when at LSU.
