Is it a hot take to say LSU has state’s best 2 committed?

More and more as the high school season progresses, scouts have drooled over the potential of TE Trey’Dez Green and S Dashawn McBryde

I’m as disappointed as any on the DL recruiting, but I think at least one of the aforementioned prospects will end up a 5 star, and I believe the upside of McBryde is that of a Thorpe winner.

Both players sport tremendous length to go with very good athletic traits.

Reliford is dominating right now so he’s top 2

The rankings imo are going to be at the end

Reliford
Green
McBryde
Dom
Singleton - if Atkins were still in state he’d end up a top 5 player - he’s about to move way higher for sure on On3

It sucks we're not hitting on any DL but if you're talking about McKinley specifically, I just don't think you can put that on the coaching staff.

It really seems like the kid (and his family) wanted him to go OOS and get a different college experience.

Doesn't seem like LSU did anything negative to lose him, just don't think we ever had a shot at landing him.

I think he already had his foot out the door. He seems like a smart, quiet kid who will need time to develop and I think he will fit in at A&M pretty well.

Green is a borderline 5* right now and could very well end up being a 5* when all is said and done. As good as Reliford has been I don't see him making that drastic of a climb.

The recruiting services value DL more than TEs If he keeps it up he could be there in that 5* range also once Rivals and 247 adjust his ranking more. Reliford and Green will both be in the 25-40 range on On3 by the end

Not at all. There's no clear 1,2 or top 5 even. Just positional "importance". Johnson could be 1. Green probably the most upside along with Mcbride.

I am concerned about DL as well, but there doesn't seem to be a good group of DL in the state this year.

In the final rankings, Green and McBryde will be the top 2 in Louisiana. I also think Ju'an Johnson gets a nice bump. The fact that he was a QB will aid greatly in his development at corner.

People keep complaining, but the DB haul will turn this team around. Plus we have some damn great athletic kids that just need a year of development and to get healthy. Jackson, Toviano, Stamps, Hughes, Yates, McByrde, Rogers, Bates, Evans, and Johnson are all athletic guys and most of them have great upside. Harris and Welch will be ready to go after experience this year. We may go after a top Safety in the portal heavy (aka, FSU money).

Lsu has to get back in on reilford.

He could be a nice little tackle who can rush the passer.
