Is 2013 RB recruiting worrying anyone else a little bit?

We could go into 2014 with just Magee and the 2014 freshmen. I think we'll lose Hill and possibly Hilliard. I'd like to see us grab one guy in this class but maybe Les and Frank know something we don't concerning Fournette and the EA kid?

I think we're taking 3 RBs in '14. I also think Brazil will get a shot running the ball. That's my opinion, not based on anything I've read.

yeah. I know we'll get at least two but it'd be nice to get at least one guy in this class so we didn't have to play nothing but freshmen. But Fournette will be special. Just hate to see us put all of our eggs in one basket

We asked that question about half of the draft eligible guys. That's the new trend, if you're draft eligible, you're gone. If you're Miles I think you have to make that assumption regardless going forward.

Not many RBs stay till their senior year really. Hell, there were rumors he was considering a transfer this year... Look at Ware and Ford.

I think we'll be fine next season and from what I heard on the recruiting board, the '14 class is loaded at RB

Not too concerned. It's not uncommon for freshmen running backs to make big impacts.

so you'd be comfortable with our 2014 RBs possibly being Magee, Fournette, and the EA kid maybe?

(I know they are talented guys but its just a little scary to think we could be rolling with 2 true freshman RBs and a 1st time starter at QB)

Are you saying Hill would leave as a sophmore?

RB is the easiest position to make the transition from HS to college and from college to pro

I wouldn't fret too much about a freshman RB, especially one as talented as Fournette

I dont buy the rumors that Hilliard wanted to transfer. He has since admitted that he had significant knee pain for most of the year. I know everyone thinks Hill and Hilliard are gone after next year but I dont think that is written in stone.
The staff is not dumb, they would take adam taylor if they thought it was the best plan of action for the future. There may be things that we dont know (as is the case with just about every staff decision)

Three years out of high school so he could leave

he's three years removed from high school, thus draft-eligible. And after he wins the Heisman next year, what does he have left to prove?

I seriously don't know how people keep missing this fact.
