Since his son is not signing a LOI as a PWO.

I mean his kid goes to the same school. Don’t see a problem with him being there. Just the circumstance.

I had the same question when it happened, and I'm not sure he was allowed to be there. Indiana may be able to clarify, but my layman understanding is that Muschamp was in violation...

Dumb comment. The NCAA doesn’t circumvent parenthood. If his kid is involved in anyway, he can be there.

Little Muschamp could be there and his job was head decorator for the party, his dad could be there.

Boom sucks and I'm sure there are partially ulterior motives, but trying to slap him on this would be kinda lame IMO.

bet he told his son to hold off on announcing that he would be a PWO at UGA until after he got his authorization to go to Hammond NSD

Dumb question. Someone actually thinks the distinction between a PWO or LOI would preclude a parent from being at the signing ceremony?

Someone is taking this stuff too seriously.

Ok do you know if it is a major or minor violation?

If it is minor who cares he and the school will get some stupid penance from the NCAA and that will be the end of it!

But if a major violation then that could be interesting! If that would jeopardize his eligibility “I can’t see how it would” it could help us over the next couple days.

It’s a clear NCAA recruiting violation if his son didn’t sign a LOI.......but I doubt anything is done, nor does anyone really care. O was asked about it and didn’t seem to give a shite

I think it would depend on what it fell under. If it's considered him making a visit to a recruit face to face during the dead period, then I believe that's in the major category.

I know when my son and several of his teammates through the years signed, they were told NCAA rule prohibit university staff from being present.
