Companies encouraged this so that it can prevent disgruntled employees (my company still has it in their contracts).

That is illegal.

National
Labor relations
Act makes it unlawful for employer to enact any policies, guidelines, contract clauses, hiring agreements, etc that discourage open dialogue about wages to coworkers

Personally congress needs to step in also and make all these “donations” non tax deductible, that would kill funding from alot of these billionaires

That has absolutely zero to do with it. So you think it’s just a bunch “billionaires” donating for NIL? Ahh, the mystical “billionaire”.

Obviously there are more than just billionaires involved but there is nothing “mystical” about them

Just off the top of my head

Ruiz - Miami
Cuban - Indiana
Knight - Oregon
Campbell - Texas Tech
Ellison - Michigan

Notice a trend with a few of these teams and the most recent playoffs?

Not sure how you act like billionaires aren’t directly pulling the strings for many colleges when it comes to funding

Matt Bowers said everyone was 1000% bought in!

You would think that after Bowers gifted Kiffin a Bentley the team could have seen the bilges filling on that sinking ship.

The roster and NIL stuff is all AT. Thats what drove AT away from OM in the first place. He wants to have full roster control. Lane wouldn't relinquish control but I bet part of the deal with PEte is that AT get final say on roster stuff.

AT wants to be a whiz kid so fricking bad. How desperate do you have to be to “relinquish full roster control” to AT who really doesn’t have any qualification that would put him in the same stratosphere as an SEC head football coach in making those decisions

I posted the stats in another thread, but Austin Thomas has been on staff or built rosters that got 4 different coaches fired midseason in his career. Lane at USC, Les at LSU, O at LSU, and BK at LSU.

Outside of that, the records of the teams he's been on staff for are mostly mediocre to awful.
