I agree with some others that this was a reach. His highlights are not that exciting...his offers are not impressive at all (247 Sports didn't even have an offer from LSU but I guess that was dated info)....and for those who like to quote stars, not high there either.

To your point, I always when people bring up players who defied meh. How many times was "meh" said and it turned out to be spot on. Bringing up EXCEPTIONS is a weak argument...always has been. Another weak argument is trusting ANY coach to be 100% perfect on appraisals. Once again, unless 247 Sports was faulty, until recently he didn't even have an LSU offer. IMO, which we are ALLOWED to do that here, it should have stayed that way. Time will tell whether he is a diamond in the rough. RIght now, the grass looks awfully deep.

Eh, I would be careful with the reach talk until you see him play in a few months.

Was he just at the camp they held?

I wonder if they wanted to see him in person.

They gave out a ton of 27 and 28 offers.

And you PRETEND to be an expert every year. I will never forget your prediction of Charles Ross II. You acted like he was going to be an impact player as a TR FR! Hey, he did make 1 tackle. I said I saw very little in his highlights...you made yet another foolish evaluation.

I do agree with Burney's 40 time of 4.51. He showed little speed on his highlights.

If you think 4.5 40 for a Hs Jr is slow you don’t know a thing. Thats moving for a 6’3 190 pound guy. College weight program shave off another tenth. 4.4 at that size kills.

Tell me when he shaves off a tenth of a second from his current speed. 4.51 is slow for a HS WR and his height is not going to help him get faster. It is you who is wrong. And BTW, not only does he show no speed in his highlights, he doesn't show quickness either. The + he did show was the ability to use the "stop and go". But then again, those CBs he went up against probably won't be seen in college.

A verified 4.51 at 6’3” 190lbs… are you slow?

Jamar Chase ran a 4.6 coming out of HS.
