Hill is absolutely an every down back. He is head and shoulders the best and most complete back at LSU.

No doubt at the college level. But there about 10-15 every down backs in the NFL and that number will get smaller. Do you really think Hill is one of the 10-15 best backs in the past 6 years?

Im not hating on Hill but the NFL is now a 2 back league where late round picks often turn out to be decent players

I'm with you.

But he doesn't get paid to play college ball. He'll be gone and making money, even if its the new cheap rookie contracts.

Yesterday Tigerbait had a video of Hootie, talking about this commitment, and it sounded very pro bama!!!! Very much, I won't say he's going or even leaning there because it REALLY means nothing BUT I would t be surprised if he committed to bama at all. Now LF I think is a Tiger! I think we get the rest of LA.... And we may not be out of CamRs recruitment just yet!!! Hold on peeps!! It's not over, we have a long season ahead and LSU will only help by lookn dominate on the field, like we should of been for years! Anyway we have our OC now and the program is going in the right direction! Lots of confidence in this team nationally right now! I can just see Cali and Tex QBs knocking at our door to come play for CamCam..... With that the OL wanting to block for him and so on..... Come on people things are lookn up for LSU, this will all take care of itself!! and here's to bama

Neville where Hootie plays, and WM HS are less than one mile apart as a crow flies. ESPN in town,,short distance, good friends, there was a lot of ppl there. You couldn't tell bc he picked Bama and no one really clapped. WM is a big Tiger town, just look at the Duck guys! Hootie follows Diarse to be part of DBU IMO.

I hope so... But they mentioned something about the big 3 and he laughed but wouldn't say anymore and the guy taping was like I don't blame you for not saying..... No doubt it's a big Tiger town and part of that is probly why these kids are wanting to go against the grain so to speak, they don't want others making that decision or to be like everyone else.... Some kids want to be the REBEL.... In this case though I don't think it's in their best interest rebel or not..... It's just a better decision to play for LSU and Les miles man, it is period! We are a much better team and I see LSU on an upward swing and fast! Camcam is gonna make a huge difference with this team..... With or without our biggest recruits! Boy it would be nice to have them though..... I mean utter domination!!! Cam cam cam, what a shame buddy!!!

Per the NOLA article:

quote:

"We're gonna get Hootie," Robinson said. "That's a deal that's done. We're gonna get Hootie, man. That's what we're working towards."

I think Hill would be 4th round right now due to his problems. If he had an extra year with good behavior he could go 2nd

Even if that's true the difference between 2nd and 4th round money is not great enough to make it worth your while to try and move up especially with the risk of injury. An extra year won't make his past issues go away. Some teams will pass on him over that regardless of how much time passes. There are so many varibles it's hard to say, RB is becoming more marginalized in the NFL, may as well go and get to the 2nd contract faster.

No. I'm not sure how that is relevant anyway, He wouldn't be that with an extra year anyway. I do think he is better than Ridley who went 3rd round.

all the more reason to go pro ASAP.

I do think the two Cams together would be better than a backup kicker and not having the #1 OL in the nation.

From all accounts your boy Sims did not have a good camp last year and did not earn an offer. He also did not seem interested in coming to any camps or other events to try and earn that offer. Also thru out the process it looked as if they would take more than 3-4 WR's so to say the kicker is taking Sims spot is not accurate.

For whatever reason they were not impressed with Sims. They could be wrong, but the track record suggest the coaches are right way more often than local fans. If Sims wanted an LSU offer he should have come to more camps. You think Bama would have taken him if they had gotten Lane and Dupre? It sucks that we missed out on Robinson, but to blame it on the failure to take Sims is just making excuses.

I love me some CAM ROBINSON

I'm so happy for him, I hope he wins 3 NCs and reels in like 49 La blue chips for nick saban.

Those La boys are just my heart.

The fact is LSU is loaded with Louisiana talent that Bama fought hard to get, and vice versa. It will remain that way.

Not according to Cam. He lit up and said it was huge, that they've been friends since 3rd grade. Sims said Cam didn't know where he was going, but 2 days after Sims' announcement he called and told him he was joining him at Bama. As soon as Sims committed I told you this was bad news. Turns out I was right.

I still say Bama never even goes to Atlanta the 4 years they're in school.

If LSUs offense shits the bed again Ill bet we lose Fournette. Don't think for one second Saban has not sent LF a note containing the recent salaries/guaranteed money Lacy/Richardon/Ingram have made. Fournette told TigerRag he played very "close attention" to the CamRob announcement. It ain't over by a longshot boys.

In hindsight, I'm relieved that both of them will be leaving the state in a year or so. No knock against you, JJ. They've just finally shown their true colors and I for one am over it. Oh, and he has turned out to be very much like a certain Dutchtown S from a couple years ago.

No way LF goes anywhere but LSU. Bama is trying to sell him on them having a bunch of good backs so he would share the load. Well ever since LF has been in high school he has been the bell cow for his team and getting 90% of the carries. LF is the type of back that wants to bare the load. You not going to win the Heisman sharing carries and I am not saying his main focus is winning the Heisman but I think every RB dreams of it. AP never shared carries at OU.

Exactly. LSU hasn't had a feature back in forever. It's not Miles philosophy. He has changed this because of the type of talent LF is. We have our team set up to make him a Heisman candidate. Bama's is set up to make him part of a committee. I know which one I would choose if I wanted to be the greatest ever.
