LSU has ALWAYS been dependent on home grown talent. Out of state is always a risk. You can look at our long history to see that truth borne out. We need another 5 star talent at CB to come out the boot soon.

Oh, it's unacceptable for a blue chip corner from Florida to not play for LSU?
It is if (as has been suggested on On3) he flips to Tenner.

Agree for the most part. However, at this point it’s beating a dead horse. It’s been covered ad nauseum.
Wait to see if they keep Bates and maybe flip someone. Then see if they make changes on the DB staff.
If those things don’t happen, then you can melt

Have you ever followed recruiting before?? Heads must roll because a teenager changes their mind?? I can assure you that the program will not collapse with either leaving if that’s what they end up doing.
You tards are fn nuts, man!

The worst take in this thread is yours… you’re literally the only one who is agreeing with your stance

Hey clown, there's already a trend: CB's bailing on LSU since Raymond was coach.
Kelly's recruiting is actually reversing that trend.

Well, here is a person that holds some credibility…

Look at what our pass defense has looked like all year, and tell me we don’t need to make coaching changes.
Then look at recruiting whiffs in a state with rich db talent, last year and this.
Then look at the flips away from us among the recruits, and you will see that the market-system is rejecting what we are selling.
Recruits, guided by opinions of coaches and others are being advised that talented db recruits should look elsewhere.
You can argue that the market is wrong ( our eyes tell us it is right, based on what we see and what the stats show) , but we have lost favor in the relevant market.

You just gonna ignore last year?

Which whiffs? Be specific.
And also, let's talk about who we did get.

What?

Which coaches are deliberately steering recruits away from LSU? Be specific.

Again, what?

Dude, we have lost favor in the NIL deals. I agree some of these LA kids we are losing out on is unusual but BK is also preaching accountability. Look at Harris and Chestnut. Do you really want to bring that crap in here some more? I believe BK didn’t want that on his team or else he would have kept McGlothern. He didn’t and he found himself in a pickle and took a chance on Harris. Now look how that turned out. He wants high caliber players that are not knuckle heads. Go to class, work your arse off, and have the fruits. NIL adds a whole different realm to the equation.
