and they very well might, is there a chance of flipping Moore or is the Nike money just too much?

I’m not sure most of these high star recruits care about winning. Is it nice to win? Sure. But ultimately, this is just a paycheck.

Look at it like this. How important to you is it that the place you work is “the best” at whatever it is that they do? I’d say it’s of very little importance. For example. If company A was going to pay you 100k a year to do a job but the product they produced was cheap garbage, you’d still likely take that job over company B that might make the best product on the market but would only offer you 75k per year (all other factors being equal. Meaning neither company is in any jeopardy of shutting down).

I'd say this is a bad analogy. Company A and B are teams in the NFL. This is a matter of which training program get's you best prepared for the draft/companies. Training program A pays me x. If training program B pays less but gives me a better chance at a higher draft position and exponentially more money during my first contract, then it's still a financial decision, but one involves more work, tougher competition and delayed gratification.

I'm almost positive he is going to have a change of heart about playing two thousand miles away before signing day. The price tag will still be ridiculous but I think he will ending up taking less than what Oregon is offering. It looks like Texas will be full at WR, A&M is the kind of school that would pony up big money late in the process to create momentum but he's shown little to no interest in them at all. I think we have a shot but I am tired of the games

If he cared about winning anything, he wouldn’t have committed to Oregon to begin with

I agree it’s not the best analogy. I’d bet that winning is still an important factor for most of these guys too. Being on a terrible team for 3 years sounds miserable.

These kids had nothing coming up and if they think they have the talent to make it in the NFL then they're simply looking for biggest paycheck till they get draft eligible.

CBK is catching ALOT of (potentially) unwarranted flak right now, but he's building a program of players who are buying into LSU. They wont quit after a loss or two. What what happens to OM, TX, 8-4, if they lose a few games. That roster will implode as the players start looking for the next big pay day.

Nike money is too much. Secondly, at Oregon he only has to play football for NIL $. If he came to LSU, it would be for less money, and there would be multiple commitments to fulfill for the $.
