If LSU lands Toviano they will jump to number 2 in recruiting rankings

They will jump Texas, Georgia, Ohio State, and Notre Dame. (lol)
Also will have a very impressive player Avg per recruit. Will be in the top 5 there as well.
If LSU somehow lands Harbor this will confirm a top 3 class maybe better.

Depends how others finish, but I'm pretty convinced LSU will have 300 + points (which is all that matters). They'll be ranked anywhere from 3-7 depending on other how other programs finish.

Hoping guys like Parker, Hughes, and Stamps get their respective bumps as well

Does Toviano have a commitment date set? Possible early enrollee?

Supposedly Womack might jump to a 5 star later this year.
Shelton Sampson, Heard, and Brown are all very close to that as well.
Daylen Austin should work himself inside the top 100 because he is on CBS projected risers, and has been moving up a lot lately.

Not yet, but it’s probably coming any time now. Fong and Boudwin usually make predictions when they are close to announcing.

Any guys we feel good for and how do you see this class finishing just wondering what your stance is right now I know you got good info

So Toviano and Chester would put us at 24 commitments.
I'm guessing we take 3-4 more guys? Harbor and....?

I really wish I would've saved all the social media from Aggy and ND fans talking shite about recruiting this past summer.

Have to expect a couple defections unfortunately, but at this same time you keep spots open for a guy like Derek Williams.

Are there any other names we should be on the lookout for in the 2023 class?

Why? LSU needs defensive backs really bad.

When we pass ND it’s over for them against us. They won’t catch us. That will be a hard pill to swallow in Notre Dame and blue check sports media twitterverse
They were so certain they would recruit better than Kelly this year

I don't think it's really even a question at this point that LSU will finish with a higher class than ND. There are three teams I don't think LSU can finish higher than - Alabama, UGA, Ohio State. And then there are a couple that it's a toss-up against - Texas and OU. Notre Dame made their big push, I see more chance of defections for them than big pieces on the table.

These are some of the other players LSU is in the mix for:
Jordan Hall (UGA lean for now)
Jayvon Thomas (Aggie Commit)
DJ Chester (LSU lean)
Javien Toviano (LSU lean)
Christian Gray (Notre Dame commit)
Derek Williams (Texas commit)
Nyckoles Harbor (LSU/Michigan/South Carolina battle)
Obviously LSU won’t land all of those guys, but I think they get Toviano, Chester, and Derek Williams from that group.
I like LSUs chances with Harbor but it’s tough to say right now. He will be in BR for the Tennessee game. I think once he visits everyone will know more.

Because it happens every recruiting class? Do you follow recruiting at all? Decommits are inevitable.

Are we really in the mix for him, or is he on there because hes in HS where Steeples coached? I hadn't heard anything saying he was a potential flip, but happy to be wrong if it happens.

Notre dame went with the Coach O approach where you go all-out balls-to-the-wall full-on 100% effort from the jump, which leads to a lot of early commitments but leaves you with no cards left to play late in the cycle when a) kids are thinking about jumping ship, or b) you need to fill a few more spots and want to do so with quality players. It's no accident that O had exclusively negative signing day results (i.e. we always came out with less than we expected, between adding new guys and losing current guys)--because there was no strategic component to his recruiting. It was just full-court press from day 1 with no other tactic to turn to.
It feels a lot like that's what ND has done this year.

LSU completely out on Bravion Rogers?
