I don't blame them at all. We've got to step our game up to be competitive and I think we will. Just a transition year, once BK is settled we'll get it going.
I do wish it wasn't the new normal. College football as we know it is gone. I blame free transferring as much or more than NIL though.

I dont think people are upset with aggy, texas, Alabama, etc. (frick em all though). They are playing with the cards they are dealt. The problem is the current model is not sustainable. You cant have the current transfer portal rules (free agency and no penalties) AND pay to play with no boundaries.
Forget its college and the NCAA and all that...Its basically a professional league if the professional league allowed players to play on any team in the league they wanted that upcoming year and any of those teams could pay any player any amount of money to come play. Their is a reason the NFL, NBA, NHL, etc. all have contracts, salary caps, lengths of deals etc.

What amazes me is how far it got out of hand only months into its implementation. I mean, holy shite, the landscape is just chaos now. #1 player going to JSU? Just insanity.

I think this is the reason I’m so for NIL, smaller schools are going to be able to compete now. I don’t care if A&M is buying their entire class. Good for them. I care that LSU branded themselves as leaders in the NIL world then fell off the map. This is LSU. Pay them their damn money and get these kids to campus. Have to get with the new times or get left behind.

JSU isn't paying Travis Hunter shite. This solely has to do with Barstool/Deion/Portnoy. If Deion does not work for/with Barstool then this probably never happens. Small schools/poor schools are going to be at a disadvantage.
