I read an article that said ECU is Sloan's alma mater. That could make a difference to some people.

and actual national insiders with no direct rooting interest of where Sloan coaches next year have refuted the possibility of him taking a backwards step in his career so Bryce Underwood can go to Michigan.

ETA: It also wasn't actual, reputable insiders. It was mentioned by a random fan and then two dweebs with a Michigan podcast on YouTube made comments stating Sloan had been offered the job.

If I were Sloan I would stick around for a NC with Underwood. That will pad his resume and he can go most anywhere, plus, it's not like he's not getting paid here. Maybe Underwood should follow Sloan to ECU if he's that interested in him. js

It really won't imo. Lsu would probably get a better oc at that point.

Bryce is all in on lsu. I'm sure he has a great connection with Sloan but It's Kelly's offense and program. Just don't think it would cause him to decommit.

He will use this to get a fat arse raise, as he should. In the end I think he has more to do at LSU and will stay.

Seems to me they should keep whomever coached the boat racing last night.

Bryce is locked in.

ETA: Reports that ECU hired a firm but Sloan not expected to pursue the job.

Bryce still comes without Sloan imo.

You could always demote him to qb coach or let him walk

Kelly needs to go get an oc that doesn't run his vanilla system.
