I know the SEC rule, but I he shouldn't have expected to play his first year anyway. They likely talked him back to Texas, but check back on this after next year. Might still end up getting him if Bo wants him at that point.

There were rumors that he might transfer to LSU after his coach left Texas, but ultimately he stayed, possibly because of financial incentives.

Lsu never seemed to pursue him
I saw him play a few times and he flashed but he didn’t dominate
Similar player to Johnson from Westgate IMO. But he does have a longer frame and maybe has a higher ceiling
