Not that anyone cares but I need to vent
This is a fricking joke
We’ve all seen frickery over the years but this is different. This is a long term commitment from a kid that did and said all the right things for nearly a year. Literally up to a day or 2 ago on social media.
I can’t invest any more brain power into HS recruiting.

I still keep up with it because I care but I don’t get heavily invested like I used to. It’s not worth it man trust me.

Every year we set ourselves up time and time again only to get hurt. Our insiders are never actually in the know and we always think we have everything wrapped up with recruits. Yet every time the same thing one way or another happens and yet we never learn our lesson and keep coming back every year acting like the previous hurt didn’t happen and all is well. It’s a never ending cycle.

For months anyone who suggested that Bruce could flip was ridiculed. Bryce was coming to LSU because he loved LSU, not for the money. And even if it was the money, LSU would match. And people were so confident about it. It’s hilarious

I was done a few years back. Only passively pass thru here but never put stock in any kid anymore until he’s in class at LSU.

I hate that he’s not coming to LSU. I’ve said over the past few weeks that I thought he was going to end up at LSU. So I was wrong. But watching guys who thought they knew it all and refused to believe anything else realize that they actually don’t know shite is funny.

We don’t know or talk to these kids. We watch what they do and what they say and formulate opinions. It’s not taking anything as gospel its best guesses. And in underwood’s case, there was nothing to suggest he was wavering besides 3rd party reports that HE discredited.
It’s not logical. Which is why I can’t pay attention to this anymore

I never mentioned anything mostly because I didn’t believe him, but I have an uncle who works out with Keem and he’s been saying since before he reclassified that he wants to leave Louisiana

recruiting used to be EVERYTHING, as far as i was concerned and LSU sites... but that interest has slowly but surely dissipated to the point where i'm just apathetic about it all.... getting excited about a big recruit "verballing" is harder and harder to do, b/c it just feels like its a matter of time they go back on their word, and even if they make it to campus, it doesn't mean they will stay any more than 1 year anyway.... in many ways, NIL is worse than FA in the NFL, for fans... between that and how stuck we are with BK and his ineptitude, i'm just sorta apathetic about LSU football in general... i almost miss the naive hope we used to have mid-90s, when we were excited to even just get to a bowl... at least we were on the come up, and were punching above our weight... can't say the same anymore, and i'm not really sure where this program goes after Kelly, as far as a long term trajectory...

2 for 5 should have done you in. All year long it was 5 for 5. That signing day was brutal
Thats when I backed off. A lot of people out there act like they know shite when they dont about something as unpredictable as recruiting 17-18 year olds.
