I see that Emery Jones was a Guard in high school. Will this help with Heards recruitment?

Jones has pretty much solidified his spot at right tackle this season, but Heard has committed to the good guys. Do we plan on sliding Jones inside and making Heard the tackle?

Don’t believe there is any cause-and-effect relationship here at all.

BK has shown that he’s going to do everything possible to get the best five guys on the field together

He played left tackle and needs to stay at tackle.

He was recruited to play LG and will be a drafted to play that, we just need him at RT more this year.

Evan Neal played LG at Bama before playing tackle.

You might want to temper your expectations if you're expecting Heard to be ready start as a true freshman. Isn't he pretty raw?

If you're already looking ahead to 2024 and beyond, that's kinda far down the road isn't it?

How about we just let the guys compete and let the chips fall where they may?

What Campbell and Jones are doing is extremely rare is very unlikely this is even an issue. Even for the very top rated OTs out of HS.

If anything, Kelly movement of positions for some and the willingness to play the best 5 regardless of classification does nothing but help Heard’s and all other OLs recruiting going forward.

I would hope that Heard is being given the promise that he can compete and that's it.

Idgaf about internet stars and Emery has looked damn good at RT especially for how young he is.

He's a mauler in the run game and his athleticism has flashed like when he made an open field tackle on a punt returner.

If Heard is the better option then great, that means he's a monster.

Just get them on campus then best man plays. Dellinger and Dumerville we're both "ranked" considerably higher than Emery and he's substantially better than both

He finished higher ranked than both of them, but also in recruiting and for the draft, Tackles will be valued way above Guards.

We definitely see how BK is not afraid to get the best 5 on the field in whatever combination that is. If he's good enough, he'll be there.

Few offensive linemen expect playing time as a freshman. What we were seeing is almost unheard of, playing to true freshman on the OL.

Ideally, they would all redshirt.

Heard should be tickled pink knowing he has those two studs to play with the next couple years.
