I know speed is a problem, but we have speed. We do seem to have a problem in terms of hands. And from what i hear he catches everything. I think he'll get a chance to play.

I forgot John Williams.

It's not just my words. Sonny and other scout reporters have mentioned similar things as well. Chris Tolliver has also been mentioned.

I love sonny and his guys, but #4, no way.

people tend to get carried away when they see a FR perform well. Add to that he looks like an absolute beast, and thats how rumors get started.

I agree that people get carried away. Only 4-5 of the freshman will actually see PT unless injuries occur.

We are talking about the #4 WR spot...not like he is competing for a starting position. Him looking like a freak and playing well in practice puts him ahead of some of his competition.

i just cant see him getting time over the Mitchells

those guys are talented, and have paid their dues. They'll at least get first dibs and wont lose their jobs over 3 practices

I've been singing DP as my super sleeper for this freshman class. He dominated the Florida camp and has been the rave this summer, drawing comparisons to Bowe, but only further along at this point. And at 6'4 199...Damn!

Not talking about redshirts but I'm hearing good things about Cutrera, Alem, and Woods. Apparently, all 3 are in the best shape of their lives.

RE=Rahim Alem, NT=Al Woods, DT=Marlon Favorite, LE=Pep Levingston. The Best 2nd string Dline in the nation!

Exactly Exactly!!!

81 is just huge!!!

Lynx, dose Chancey have a chance of playing this year or is a RS?

Maybe we can save him?

Woods seemingly burned his RS....I think that was a deal Miles had to make getting woods....He refused to be RS'd

Lester all I'm saying a lot of these guys are coming in physically way ahead of where some expected. I'm not saying anyone is going to dominate out the box.

regarding the WRs....I think peterson is highly capable of beating out chris for the 4th spot. jared had a good spring so we'll see if he can parlay that into a solid year

Not Lynx, but we have way to much depth at DE for anyone to not get redshirted. Alem, Pep, Corley, Pittman, Johnson and Jackson... An embarassment of riches

He did I wonder when he picks which sport to stick with. Or if he even stays playing both.

Agreed. Good response joe.

I think Chancey A. has to be a redshirt this year with all the talent at DE. LSU loses a ton of DL after this year so I don't see a reason to waste a year of eligibility.

Also, btw, it looks like Chancey may have injured his knee a little today. He had it wrapped but was walking around...he didn't participate in drills though.
