It's friggin stupid to assume we have a QB that's committed to another school and is an EE somehow in the bag when he's never stepped foot on campus.
I doubt it's Tua that were thinking we're gonna get, but I could see it being the JUCO kid from FSU
Was CEO the principle recruiter for any of the QBs?

Brennan = No Chest
If the kid is afraid of competing for the spot, then he lacks the confidence needed at the position....

Way to spin it. Is that you, Fat Goebbels?

O sending the message that he is going to recruit the best players in the country is a bad message?
The context of that comment was the rumor that Orgeron and Craig wouldn't return the phone calls of Brennan.

yeah it was cool being at the same spring testing as Tommy Banks and seeing Dinardo - I was hooked, but not sure seems like we are in transition

Kind of figured the sarcasm in my post was obvious due to the sauce picante line. Guess not

I have a bigger issue with O stating that LSU is going in the dual-threat direction, when just a few weeks ago he was saying pro-style is the answer. From the AD on down, WTF is wrong with these people?!
All he has been doing since day 1 is telling people what they want to hear. At any given moment his philosophy will change based on who he thinks is listening. I'm guessing when he made the "pro style" comment he received some negative feedback, so the next time he says he will run a "spread attack".

as long as O finds a good replacement for brennan i am fine. but if we get to NSD and we only have Narcisse for a qb people are gonna be rightfully pissed.

O is renowned for being a master of recruiting.
He is great at going and yawing at kids and getting them pumped
That doesn't mean he is a genius personel guy.
Also we don't have a OC, so Maybe having a Pro Style and DT QB comitted is a good thing
You know, in case the OC O has in mind falls through.

Oh, that makes sense. But I would hope everybody here realizes how ridiculous O and Craig not returning calls is. No way they did that.

That's the thing. There aren't many feasible replacements that are as good as Brennan.

Spinning or not, its the truth. Kid is soft if a little competition makes him run for the hills.

If you are a highly rated Pro-style QB who has been committed to LSU for the longest and their HC and your recruiter will not return phone calls after:
1) change in HC,
2) Change in OC,
3) reported (by new HC) change in offensive philosophy......
4) an offer to a 3rd QB for this class (one who is DT)
You would be a fool not to listen to other schools who are potential better fits. PERIOD END OF STORY.
Take of the P&G glasses people. This kid and his family are doing what they feel is needed to look out for their own interests. LSU forced this, not them. It may be that it is best for all involved.

completely agree. i am assuming he thinks he can flip someone or wants to take a juco/grad transfer. either way coach o is playing with fire and better know what he's doing on this. there will be hell to pay if we have another qb recruiting situation like last year. kiffin told tahj boy to take a hike at UT so maybe him and O have a master plan. maybe it's all in tBinder.

Im stunned by this. All I can say is there better be smthg happening behind closed doors or else
I'm sure coach O is shaking in his boots about your threat.
Let's see how this plays out. On the surface, yes it looks bad
