Orgeron's trend at LSU has been a 2 back system

The entire ONE year? It's a different offense this year so those stats dont mean shite.

My feeling on Emery is that hes committing to the offense and AWAY from Miss St. If LSU shows an open and rb friendly offense like GA, and is successful, hell flip...its that simple.

We have 3 4* players that could see action this year. By all means though, keep telling me how well LSU has done spreading touches among blacks during the last 2 seasons.

It is also the first time LSU has not had a returning rb that has scored a td since 1974. We haven't needed to spread the ball around recently because we have had 3 nfl rbs in a row Hill, Fournette Guice.

Kirby just mops the floor with Ed O when it comes to recruiting

It was only a matter of time before UGA started to invade LA territory

Yea, no shite. Kirby's resume recruiting destroys coach O's

Member when we lost Akers to Florida State, I said it felt like DiNardo just lost Kevin Faulk. But I was assured by everyone on this board that the one thing LSU could recruit was running backs. Everyone said elite running backs grow on trees in Louisiana and are all dying to come to LSU.

I've said before on this board, but no one seemed to listen, but I have a source close to the kid that says he still wants to be a tiger. He committed to UGA for two reasons. He love's coach O, but with all the hate out there for him, Emery is worried O will get fired. Secondly, he is getting to know the other UGA recruits, building relationships, and if O is still coach at the end of the year will flip, bringing some of Kirby's guys with him. It really is pretty simple.

Probably, but I hope he isn’t.

The quick recruiting turnaround in UGA should raise some eyebrows at the NCAA, but I’m sure it won’t. They have 5 5* committed for 2019 already.

Do you have a freaking clue about the history and blue bloods in the SEC? How about where Kirby has coached? How about Georgia High School football?

Raise eyebrows all you want. He is killing it in recruiting. What Ed O used to do when he was an assistant coach for a real coach.

Porter, how y’all feeling about keeping Emery in yalls class? If LSU has a good season I think we can flip him. I think it’s hard to keep Emery there with all the depth.

Not Porter, but in general we feel very strong about keeping him in the fold. The only backs we've been recruiting are Emery, Sanders, Cain, and T. Davis.

Davis is solid to you guys, Sanders is likely heading to Bama but we have a chance. We will only take 1 back this class, but I think if Sanders wanted to come we would take 2 and find a way to make it work.

When we found out Emery was committing, we stopped recruiting Cain, if that gives you some idea of the pecking order and confidence level.

I personally feel like it's about 80%. Now if LSU goes on a tear this year and UGA slips it will drop below 50% but that's just me talking and knowing how hard it is to keep kids from Louisiana.
