Good point.
Nick Brossette - 19 carries in 13 games (9 games with 0 carries on the season).
Clyde Edwards-Helaire - 15 carries in 13 games (9 games with 0 carries on the season).
DeAndre Swift - 17 carries in UGA's first 3 games (0 games with 0 carries on the season).
Elijah Holyfield - 15 carries in UGA's first 5 games (6 games with 0 carries on the season. 2 of these he DNP).
Brian Herrion - 15 carries in UGA's first 3 games (3 games with 0 carries on the season. 1 of these he DNP).
Those 2 extra games made a HUGE difference for these guys.
You guys are right though. The idea that he has a better chance of playing early at UGA is just crazy.

They got 8 whole carries in those two games

5 of their backs had 50+ touches last year. 4 of them had 60+.
So, let me get this straight....UGA had five backs get 50+ last year and you're gonna hang your dunce hat on that? They played 15 games. That's an average of 3.3 touches a game!
You "think" a 5* talent like Emery wouldn't get touches? More touches than just over 3 a game? Even as a freshman in the 2019 season?
And you base this on the recent past when LSU had the likes of Fournette and Guice? Like the talent of those guys didn't demand touches?
Is that what you "think"???
OK. Seems solid. Sure.

Championships? Then he would have gone to bama.

I, literally, never said any of this. I said the idea that he wouldn't get touches at UGA because they have other good running backs is wrong, which I've proven.
Difficult to follow along, I know.

Remind me who won the SEC Championship last year...

Remind me who won the National championship bone head. And they beat your bulldogs! Kirby can’t beat saban.

I didn't say "national championship" did I?

I think I would rather a National championship.

If he comes in and is better, he will easily shoot up the depth chart.
It's funny how UGA fans and (sadly) some LSU fans think that this is true for Georgia but not for LSU.
FACT is wherever Emery (or any player for that matter) goes, if they are better, they will play more. This is true at UGA. It's true at LSU.
The only difference is, at one school there are currently four other 4 or 5 star RBs on roster to contend with. That's a fact.

He likes Georgia because he likes 2nd place.

So would Emery apparently. I'm guessing that's one of the reasons he chose UGA over State and LSU.

No one said it wasn’t true for LSU

Do you realize how dumb this argument looks when you're trying to say he should choose LSU?

Which mean they got garbage time carries during the season.

It's the playoffs. You run with your horses.

Can't beat him? He played him to an OT game in the NC. Either team could've won that game.

The CURRENT situation for early playing time at RB is LSU. Simple.
Posted on 7/30/18 at 8:51 pm to Abe1961
He wants to play for titles

I’ve enjoyed lurking on this one, but to jump in... UGA’s online is also getting very beefy under Sam Pittman and they only continue to pull in 4 and 5 star linemen. That would be nice to run behind.
