Well that’s interesting. I’m curious if it’s them being angry at the way he handled things with them tho. He went from having the longest standing pledge in their class to completely ruling them out with less than a month left. Their site also believes they will get young, which would make him less of a priority.

Maybe he has his hand out too which is why they're backing off.

Not sure about Moore, but yes some recruits become “too hot” for certain coaches/schools to touch.

This does not apply to every coach/school.

Interesting hypothesis. One I must agree with. Sounds like this kid is upping the ante and this may tend to turn heads. with the way the FBI is getting involved with college recruiting in basketball, it's just a matter of time before they turn and look at football. But 2 major colleges both backing off a recruit, yea, people will be asking some questions. I just hope O doesn't do anything stupid with this situation. If that is indeed the case.

I said school would start dropping Moore two months ago.Moore has some off the field issues that should make a staff worry. He was almost kicked off his high school team this year for trying to fight a coach of his.I suspect he ends up signing with Florida since they are missing on dlinemen left and right. He'll last a year or so and move on to a JUCO and then the SWAC.This is assuming he even qualifies and that is iffy.

MSU ihas never been shy about padding the recruits’ wallets.

very few are. MSU is very aggressive with in-state recruits. As is LSU.

Personally, as it applies to LSU, I'd rather be aggressive outside the state like Ole Miss was and Bama is. The idea of optics and the fence around the state limits us (as it does MSU) more than it helps us.

The reality is all major colleges pay for big-time players, including LSU. I wish someone would do a "real" story on how recruiting is conducted to show that these campus visits aren't the only things going on! The real recruiting is done away from campus with the family, street agents, coaches, girl friends, etc...!

I don't blame these players for getting everything they can. The powerhouse schools only want them for their ability to play football, period! They could careless about their academics, as long as they stay academically eligible. Don't give me the "they get a free education" argument, because college football is about big money, period. If coaches can shop around to get the best gigs for them, why not the players who are the real reason fans go to see football games!

Come on down Pickering! LSU would love to have your talents!

I can tell y’all that all the negative posts about Moore is nothing more than speculation and rumor. LSU is in it and would love to land him.

So, a distant third qualifies as "excellence"?
Perhaps "also ran" status is better....

I'd rather be #3, than #6 or Vandy or Mizzou. You really are a nit wit.
