So meat in all chain restaurants is subpar. Then you say Fogo is the best restaurant. Fogo is a national chain. Fogo has subpar meat.

Well, Texas De Brazil always seemed to be the place to take recruits, and people raved about it.

Mike Anderson's was dissed by many people on the board.

Truth is, the majority of people who criticize either place are the same people who grew up eating sloppy joes and tuna helper. They still eat at Subway and pretend they don't. I've eaten at French Laundry, but a chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and fried okra is as good as anything served at any Michelin restaurant.

Him, max, and a few of the other recruits got to watch LSU put a beatdown on south Carolina.
Glen Logan was with Pickering i think.
His mom and a few of his close relatives have close ties to MSU so it will be REALLY hard to get him here. I wouldn't put to much stock in Bama either. To much influence there for me to be convinced he land anywhere but with the bulldogs.

I’ve heard multiple family members are employed by MS State boosters. For as dirty as Ole Miss was proven to be, it seems like State is willing to do whatever necessary to keep the MS kids at home.

I guess the MS schools gotta do something to keep all their talent from going to bigger better more accomplished schools... which is half the SEC lol

Yep, takes a lot to convince someone to go to school on a cow pasture and play in a HS stadium with cowbells.

I lived in Mississippi for 20 years. Virtually everyone in the state is an Ole Miss or Mississippi State supporter. It's no different from the state of Alabama. You're a Bama fan or an Auburn fan.

The kids are raised on that. It's hard to pull kids from that state. Bama gets a couple, but it's always a difficult sell for anyone else. We need to get some top recruits from there

I believe Shaq owns the Texas de Brazil in Baton Rouge. It is quite good by the way.

And all those kids staying home have won exactly NOTHING for either Ole Missy or Miss Stake.

Being that the last SEC Football Championship won in Mississippi was in 1963 by Ole Miss you have to question the brilliance of staying in Mississippi to play football.

Lastly, the talent in Mississippi is not as plentiful as some make it out to be and the recruiting base for both UM ans MSU is pretty much in-state. Neither has the ability of LSU to reach into Texas and recruit top Texas kids. LSU only tries to recruit a couple of Mississippi kids when they feel they can't do as well or better in Louisiana or Texas.

Mike Anderson's has been a fixture in Baton Rouge for around 40 years so someone must like it. The Jumbo Fried Shrimp are great. The House Salad is fantastic and the Oyster Bar is good.

Regarding Texas de Brazil, if you google it you will find there are 450 ratings of the Restaurant and they have 4.5 our of 5 star rating so some people apparently enjoy the food there.

This is what they were driving when Ole Miss last won an SEC Football Championship in 1963.
