So I don't get it. I keep seeing posts that Bolden is burning everyone he he matches up against. He has all the skills to be a great slot WR. Would flourish in Canada's offense and he loves LSU.

So why hasn't he committed and/or why hasn't Canada pursued him harder?

Because he loves LSU yet is weighing his options. Yes he loves LSU and will dominate Canada's offense but think of what he could do in TCU's wide open offense or bamas spread.. he'd be terrific in all 3 aka why I think it's such a hard decision for him. He's been Pursued very hard and they're doing everything to get the kid. LSU just isn't putting all their eggs in one basket like in previous years just to get burnt in the end. They see how valuable bolden is and are treating him as he should be

Sounds good. I hope it works out for LSU and him. I guess we just have to let it play out.

You haven't seen this kid play... he's beyond good enough to be a tiger just stop trolling.. and won't be a long wait but hopefully it's the worth the wait and if not he's making his decision early so it shouldn't bite us in the arse too bad

Not trolling and I wasn't knocking the kid. Just asking a simple question. I actually was curious what insight you and JJ27 had on where things stand and whether LSU was strongly pursuing him.

I didnt say he wasnt good enough. He is talented. I said he might not be as good as some on this board thinks he is. And since he has been offered, there is no reason for people to keep making post about LSU not being interested and all over him.

There isn't much more that needs to be said about Bolden. The West Monroe athlete has TCU, Alabama and LSU in his top-three. He's looking to make a decision by the end of the month and this was his final visit of the month. Bolden is just a fluid route runner that can be used in a wide variety of packages by an ingenious offensive-mind like Sonny Cumbie. He made every catch look easy and when he was contested, which wasn't often as he blew by defenders, he was physical enough to come down with the ball. This would be a massive haul for TCU if they brought in another Louisiana kid.

I say he is a more productive Blue.

lol I swear the things people say here. You think Bolden is a more productive back than Blue? Productive as in he would get more touches or you think given the same number of touches, bolden would be more productive? Cuz a more productive player equals a better player. Anyway you shake it. Blue has started and performed well in the NFL. Are you telling me that In Bolden's tape You see a starting NFL back? I do not see quote that potential when I see his tape. Finevplayer and all but the perspective goes right out the window on this board everyday in every thread.

Edit- I get that production doesn't always equate to one guy being better especially when watching college ball Example- There's an argument to be made as to whether guice is a better back than Leonard. Both great. Different backs.

Thanks for the video and article link.

If he wanted to, could he commit to LSU today?

Here is all you need to understand, Bolden is a receiver first and running back second. He isn't a running back and doesn't run like one.

If we get him we are taking him as a receiver. Now who is above him or below on your personal board of receiving targets in this class?

That is what this comes down to essentially. He is not an SEC running back. Bolden going to TCU may be better for him in a conference where he could play more running back than he would in the SEC.

That is why i think that is where he is headed. To be utilized more as a whole instrad of just a slot receiver.

If he wanna get used in a offense as a receiver TCU will be the best bet.Ask 2012 Mr.Football.At LSU he'll be doing mostly blocking.

Wide outs blocking? In Canada's offense? Take your old Miles knocks to the rant man.... these wide outs are about to take off with LSU. We will be running nothing but 4-5 wide sets all year. If I was someone like bolden no doubt I'd be at LSU! He will be utilized in a ton of dif ways here

Canada will put tightends in motion, and hand it off to Guice. How else will Guice be up for a Heisman.
