How is Slade Bolden not a top priority for this class?

Kid is going to be special. I'd hate to see him fall under Saban's spell.

Here is an 8 page thread that was the 10th thread below this when I just copied the link. You may find the answer you seek.

bc hes not

We are taking 2-3 more WRs and Bolden is probably at 6 on the list of 10 guys we are recruiting now.

Its just numbers right now. If Justin Watkins wants to come to LSU then you take him to fill that same spot Bolden would go in.

No one is saying that Bolden is not talented but he is just caught in a situation where "we cant take them all"

Here it comes. Been waiting on this. The "We never wanted him/He's not good enough" posts. Like clockwork on this board.

Slade Bolden has a unique skill set and I like his versatility, but I wonder why some LSU fans make an excuse for him as a 3??. But complained about kids like Scott, Washingston, and Griffen being takes. Is it because Slade is from the Northeast part of the state or because he's a Louisiana kid. What makes him different than any other 3?? recruit.

Agree. Love his tape, can cut on a dime. His first step isn't elite nor does he have breakaway speed, but everything in between is great. Needs to learn how to find better lanes, not hard to fix. To any doubters, watch his highlights and look at his feet. I say he is a more productive Blue.

Edit: nothing like getting DV'd explaining why I'm excited about one of our commits. Never suprised

He skipped the big Nike/Rivals/UA camps, which he was invited to all of them, because they were during baseball season. Because of that, many feel he was underrated. He's gone to Tech, LSU, UA/Varsity Prep, Bama, and will be at TCU camp tonight. At those camps, the reports have been that he's been dominant.

Louisiana is so stacked at WR this year, some are going to be left out. That's just a fact. As far as Provens, Robinson was on him while at USC. He's been on him for a long time and obviously loves him. We're not college coaches, we have to trust the staff in their evaluations.

Not at all. I had it as TCU for years because it was easier to pick it up in the sea of LSUs when scrolling a page and at the time West Monroe had 3-4 kids there. I thought someone might take that as a sign of something, which it wasn't, so I decided to switch it back to LSU. Plus I don't really scroll anymore, just pick my posts and go from there.

I mean, if this doesn't give it away. It's because he's a white skilled player. It the same crap from the Trey Quinn fan club.

We're not taking him over Marshall, Chase, Keys, Babb, Or Jason. That's 5 kids who we have a chance with. They're all better than Bolden.

Comparing apples to oranges. Bolden's value is versatility. He can play half back, fullback, slot, punt returner. He fits Canada's offense better than most on your list.

Besides we have a kid who grew up a big Tiger fan and we're slow playing him in hopes we switch a kid who committed to Kansas?

He can play fullback

I've asked this before and I'll ask it again - Slade Bolden barely weighs 200 lbs. Does that sound like a fullback in any offense? Would you say Justin Watkins or Tae Provens could play fullback?

Slade is a terrific athlete who can do a lot of things well on the football and baseball fields. Stop calling him a fullback just because he looks a certain way.
