How bad did Dabo's comments hurt Clemson?

He stuck to the Christianity view of the world but never once empathized with the plight of young black youth.
He is a guy who came from nothing who used borderline talent to play WR at Alabama. So he doesn't at all feel privileged and cannot admit that he has benefitted from his skin color.
But he is being called on it by lots of prominent members of the black community and media. Example Example 2 Example 3 Example 4
Ultimately, recruiting is about parents entrusting their kids with you and Dabo did not do well this week.
Past Player Accuses of Racism more
This has to benefit LSU, who has a more genuine version of Dabo, right?

I could either see a Hugh Freeze-like fall, or nothing happens.

That’s the dumbest crap I have ever heard. This country is in ruins and you are worried about a man sticking to his faith?

His players know what type of person, man he is. He doesn't need to give fake sympathy and concern in order to get the public to like him like all these other sorry souls are doing including politicians, hollywood stars, etc.

What does his faith have to do with not putting a statement out?
He can't be the only one. Did coach o or just lsu football

Is everyone bow required to have an opinion on something because the news media tells them to, and because everyone else is doing it I must also do it? Can you see how that might come across as fake? Or are you the type that just needs everything to sound great and look great?
You are most definitely a liberal. Tell me Im wrong

BTW... Dabo played a few games at bama!! It’s not like he was a legendary bama player!!

He basically did not say God loves Clemson. He said it’s the favor of God and all glory to God. They are statements of humility, not favoritism. Through God all things are possible - for anyone willing to seek him.

Dabo is sappy, whiny and annoying, but everyone needs to stop hanging on every sound bite that someone says and trying to weaponize their words.

So a person is naturally racist because of their skin color. It's kinda weird, seems like you might be the racist one.
America is the least racist country in the world. We still have problems and issues to improve, no question, but this country fought a war to end slavery. No other country has done that and slavery still exists in many countries today.

This is the dumbest post in the history of this board. Let's not get this twisted. These "young black men" live in the greatest country in the history of the world. There is not one country in the world that has sacrificed more for the cause of justice and equality. You should read a book!!!

He was able to pull just about any recruit he wanted as well as getting numerous juniors to return for their senior year AFTER the incident happened.

Dabo had almost no decommitments or transfers in the last 5 years.
Whatever he's doing it's working.
Now, could it affect future classes? Maybe. Would be a real shame if #KKKlemson started trending.

You are as dumb as a rock and your prejudice is being exposed.
Have you ever heard of Dr. Martin Luther King?
I see as many or more African Americans giving credit to God when the make a big play.
Jesus is a Uniter for us all.
