Agreed lsu till I die98- which is why I believe if he remains undecided it will only give lsu momentum
We are all in for Jamal Adams and that's nothing against Hootie but it is because he picked Alabama. If he wants lsu truly and honestly ... He ll wait and be patient.

quote:John Galt is a character in Ayn Rand's novel Atlas Shrugged (1957). Although he is not identified by name until the last third of the novel, he is the object of its often-repeated question "Who is John Galt?" and of the quest to discover the answer.
who is john gault?
As the plot unfolds, Galt is acknowledged to be a philosopher and inventor; he believes in the power and glory of the human mind, and the right of the individual to use his/her mind solely for him/herself. He serves as a highly individualist counterpoint to the collectivist social and economic structure depicted in the novel, in which society is based on oppressive bureaucratic functionaries and a culture that embraces mediocrity in the name of egalitarianism, which the novel interprets as the end result of socialistic idealism.

JJ27 making veiled threats that if LSU doesn't roll out the red carpet, this is going to cause problems in N. LA for years to come.
LSU doesn't owe him anything..period.
To make threats only makes things worse since LSU won't be forced to do anything it doesn't want to do because a recruit thinks he holds that much power.
If Hootie reaches out himself then he will know right then and there what his future with LSU holds....

That's been my take on this as well. JJ27's assertion that LSU is out of line for not responding is absurd considering that Hootie himself hasn't picked up the phone.
ETA...
And, as for the N. LA disrespect issue, that reality only exists in the minds of some N. LA people.

^ what Cadello said above
This right here is something that could easily be sorted out by Hootie calling the staff and seeing whatsup. No bullshite, no "message from the hootie camp," no assistant coaches, no family friends...

Oh, and we have 2 from up that way now, both Core 6 atheletes, if you consider Garrett a Tiger already (which we damn sure do!!). The other is Ethan Pocic from Lemont.

"JJ27 making veiled threats that if LSU doesn't roll out the red carpet, this is going to cause problems in N. LA for years to come. "
Well he's got some nerve then, he set QB recruiting back five years until Cam showed up and proved that the LSU staff can indeed develop a QB sho can throw timing passes.... on time.

isn't it obvious?
Jordan Jefferson (JJ)
2+7=9 .... JJ #9 at LSU.

this thread is becoming as long as the LC thread last year. Personally Hootie has three choices
Bama, Lsu, OM.
since it was basically between Lsu and Bama i think that stll holds true. Something soured him on Bama or he would not have needed to decommit, if he was unsure he would have just waited it out till he made up his mind. so now i think he wants Lsu but kind of awkward with the way he handled the bama thing. OM is a fall back position since his friend CJ Hampton is there and is sort of recruiting him. All in all he has been in Lsu camp and knows the coaches system and recruits and players well, seem logical choice is Lsu but I have learned that logical is a non existent word in recruiting. I like Hootie wish him well hope he makes the right call.
