How often does a kid decommit and then recommit to the same school? Regular occurrence? Rarely? I'm asking because IDK.

I know more about the LSU side of things than you do. Two factors at play 1) where we stand with Adams and 2)the way Jones' camp handled his commitment to Bama
I still think LSU would take his commitment.

why would a kid drag himself through that just to keep another kid from going to another school?

Especially if we don't get Adams.

Unfortunately it is, My mind went blank, so forgive me. Kid from Welsh, dad Lance Guidry) coached @McNeese, committed to LSU, there was another safety wanted to come to LSU, but since this kid as committed, he went to Tennessee. On signing day, kid uses an excuse that mom wasn't in town, wanted to be with her when he signed. He instead switched to Tenn, therefore getting both kids. The one kid that had previously committed wanted out, but they wouldn't let him.

Kinda on the fence about this. If he called RIGHT NOW to commit, I do not believe they would take it, at least publicly.

Reuben Foster from last year is an example. Bama-Auburn-Bama. Brent Calloway from 3 years ago did the same thing
None of them were EEs.

Hootie didn't really "play" LSU leading up to his decision.
Neither did Janzen Jackson or Toshiro Davis.

Reports of Kiffin meeting with Saban to discuss offence. Maybe he was really there to give advice of dirty recruiting.

Y'all are still scarred from the whole Janzen debacle ... Look how well that turned out for him

Sucks that the recruiting dead period is going on so coaches cant get with both adams and jones

the thought is that Hootie had signed the EE financial agreement papers to both Bama and LSU, so unfettered and unlimited contact.
For Hootie only btw. Nothing on Adams.
