Just hope no one in La ever gives him a job in the future. Let him find one in Alabama.

stud has been so bad during his tenure we've had to rely on GAs or outsiders to help him do his job.

Why is he still employed?

Interesting comment from Andrew Lopez, who is also up there interviewing Hootie. Matches what Sonny said.
"Hootie says he woke up an LSU commit then prayed on it before he got to school. Said Bama just felt right."

I don't believe that for one second...and frankly you have to be naive to believe that.

If Hootie was a sacrifice so we could get Adams I'll gladly help him pack up and leave.

NELA is to Bama as New Orleans was to Miam

This kind of sucks.

It does suck, but again, LSU has no one to blame for themselves. This has been said for the last several years by locals. LSU has stopped recruiting NELA, unless it's a 4/5 star guy. They've even let a few 4 star guys leave without a fuss.

Bottom line is that LSU no longer cares about North La. They've shown it for years now. This didn't just start with Hootie and CRob! The last 3+ years have saw a lot of recruits were shown next to no attention from LSU coaches. In the past, the Football Friday Night programs would ALWAYS show Les and whomever else from LSU on the sidelines, taking pictures, etc. THEY HAVE STOPPED COMING HERE!

Two huge instate recruits you know bama is also after

Fear not! Stevie-E and stud to the rescue.

Good thing we offered a backup kicker

Monroe is like the New Orleans of the 90's for LSU now

And we got Pete Jenkins and started owning New Orleans. Maybe it's time to consider that approach with Monroe? Someone that would contribute as a coach and turn the tide (sorry) in N. LA?

Not saying this will happen and really hope it wont but I am wanting to see the hate for New Orleans if any of the big three LF GW or speedy go elsewhere like they are showing for NELA...

So, Bama has been recruiting 3-star guys in Monroe? What does Bama do to show it "cares" for NE LA that's different from LSU? I guarantee that if we offered 3-star guys in Monroe it would not help.

Weren't Claiborne and White just 3* recruits when LSU offered? I think Claiborne actually came to campus as a 3* if I remember. White blew up but only after LSU offered him and he committed.

The issue with the Hootie commitment that no one is mentioning is Denzel Devall has been recruiting him lights out to Alabama. He said he was surprised at how "random" it was since they would only get to play for 1 year but Devall has been talking to Hootie everyday about going to Alabama.
