This could be huge. Getting a young coaching talent at the start of his ascent. Presumably takes over for E eventually if all goes well.

I’m hoping for a DL coach. We aren’t cutting it in the trenches.

It’s said that he is great with RPOs (which are unstoppable if executed) i like it. Hopefully he does more than just teach how to run routes.

He should be an improvement in recruiting and hopefully he can teach Ensminger how to modernize the offense.

This has been in the works for some time. O has had his eyes on him for a hot minute. He was the #1 candidate and crushed the interview so they didn’t really look elsewhere.

I was hoping this wouldn’t come out so soon.....

......Bc I wanted to watch the saints in the SB and it wasn’t happening before that season ended.

We all know you don't have inside sources, BugaPainTrain.

you literally just paraphrased the tweet about his hiring and the article that talked about how much our coaching staff loved him when they visited the saints. Thanks for that inside info, would’ve been pretty cool if you’d shared it with the board 3 weeks ago before everything you just said was publicly available

Yep. BPT7 seems to forget some of us had the misfortune of dealing with him outside of this board (and believe it or not, he was even worse than he was on here), where he admitted to his alters and told some of them to us. Right SheaPatterson4Heisman/BPT7?

Cons:
Young guy with not much of a track record.
Has been on the lower rungs of coaching staffs on very talented teams.
How much credit does he deserve for those offenses considering the talent surrounding him and his limited responsibilities?

Pros:
Young guy that is moving up the coaching ranks quickly.
He has been a part of excellent offensive staffs.
Comes from a lineage of creativity, and has a lot of experience with game planning and breaking down film.
New blood and a fresh approach is much needed on the offensive staff.
Has recent experience at both the college and pro level.
He can seamlessly step into the OC role if he is successful.

After all the bitching about the senior citizens on staff I wouldn’t have thought we would have gotten one single complaint about bringing in a young guy.

People wanted a 28-year-old guy, but one with 15 years of coaching experience. Duh.

You know better than that. The peanut gallery of moronic rantards, sub human primates, Gump imposters or wannabes and internet tough guy losers have to complain about something. It is their sex, what they circle jerk off to as they look forward to posting the next troll post.

I didn’t realize that transferring from a service academy (Air Force, in his case) was ever an option.

Yeah its possible, harder after your sophomore year but before that not too hard. They aren't actually in the service until after graduation.

Sure is nice to hire a coach that isn't in the good ole boys network with coach O and has 1 foot in the grave?

For what it's worth this is exactly what I heard also. One being older and one being younger and if the younger guy was hired there was a possibility that they were looking toward the future with him, if it all worked out. Everything is an ongoing trial though.

where do you idiots come from? we were obviously going to be hiring on the offensive side.

and "not cutting it in the trenches" has been related to recruiting, not coaching.
