Not shocked Feldman said it first. Guy they hired wasn't the guy I thought they'd hire, so I would have been wrong had I said who I thought it was.

Does anybody know anything about this Brady guy? I’ve never heard of him, but it seems like a good hire. How well can he recruit?

Hopefully stays on for recruiting purposes. I guess he would still remain a CO WR coach, but not sure.

At first glance, this looks like more of a "coaching" hire than a "recruiting" hire. I mean, we all wanted a young guy with new ideas for the offensive gameplanning, and it looks like that's what we got.

It looks like he’s about 29 years old... getting young guys who can connect with players on the recruiting trail certainly seems like a good thing.

Can you tell us who it was? Any idea who else interviewed?

Just curious what the approach was. Feldman said Brady crushed the interview.

Vol, is this the only coaching position we are going to lose/fill this offseason?

Not sure his current employer (NFL) knows he was interviewing, so I'm not going to throw his name out there, but he would have been a QB assistant not WR. To be totally honest, I didn't even hear Brady's name into right before I posted this. Those in the ops building that knew kept this under wraps for a reason. We weren't the only people after Brady apparently. Also was told Payton is not happy that he's leaving him. Really leaned on him during the week for game prep and planning.

Have you watched that team in Nola Execution of the passing game in the past 10 years? Would you want some of that same execution for your team?

A young guy familiar with RPO schemes is what several guys hinted at.

I was hoping LSU would hire a QB coach.

I’m not here to complain though. Sounds like a good get.

I hope Brady has success here.

Never said he was bad, lol I didn’t hear about him. I’ve been reading and it sounds like a tremendous hire. I could even see him (if we see good improvements from the offense) taking over as OC after this year if Steve retires.
