I think it started with Matt Rhule saying QB market is 1.5 mil to get one right now

Do we really believe that number? I think we can all assume that Riley Leonard is one of if not the best QB in the portal and to say he's worth $1.5M is pretty laughable.

his is easily just a money grab. He is simply going to the highest bidder, before he is an insurance salesman the following year.
This wasn't his doing. He was forced out by OU.

LOL. No.

I don't actually believe any of the NIL numbers.

So OU wants to go into the 1st year of SEC play with a first year starter? That's a bold move cotton.

I don't think they ran him off. I think he knows he's not an NFL QB and is just looking for a big NIL payday before his playing days are over.

OU sites are heavily implying they told him they're ready to start the Jaxon Arnold era and he wouldn't be starting next year.

It's probably more like the position is open and there will be a competition.

I doubt they told him to leave.

Because in my scenario he would have been the young 5 star everyone wants to see at OU, not the mature player that was a pretty good QB at USC.

This wasnt a Rattler slam, it was a program allowing an established starter go to get the unproven guy on the field.
That's not the case. They probably thought Gabriel was going to the NFL after this year and Arnold has been groomed behind him. Kid is the real deal like Conner Weigman and Dante Moore. All three of them will be stars before they leave college.

Gabriel probably wants to make more NIL money and follow his OC to Miss St. Remember Lebby was his OC at UCF and he followed him to Oklahoma when he left Ole rMiss. Now he is headed to Miss St and he will make Miss St an instantly better team. They'll bring over some great WRs from the portal as well.

They have obviously done tampering and have talked to several of these guys' "agents". I'm willing to bet there are millions involved with some of these kids. Of course not Leonard. The fact that he had another academic school set up like ND tells me that. Sure he's getting paid, but it wasn't a highest bidder thing. Drake Maye was definitely being courted last year by several big named programs, one being Bama. People forget, but Bryce Young was pulling in almost a million from multiple NIL deals while at Bama. Those are on record. He obviously wasn't leaving for more money either. Saban was touting the money himself.

A guy like Cam Ward easily costs a mill. People forget a JUCO transfer in Can Newton got a donation to his father's church, of 300k. You don't think 1-2 mill is possible now?

Of course the OU sites are saying that. What else would they say?

On3's NIL valuation for Gabriel is estimated at $1.2 Million so Rhule was not far off from what he was hearing.

It’s like the neighborhood games when I was a kid. Just switch up the players on the teams to mix it up.

Wow, why? He's the starter at OU. Is he scared of the SEC?
