it’s a shame bc his talent is obvious

Explain what you seen that's obvious because I don't think anyone else has seen it. And don't tell me how tall or fast he is. Talent and measurables are two different things

I thought so.

He seemed to have terrible hands though.

Didn’t he get arrested and kicked off the team? Don’t think his interest were playing any sports.

He wasn’t offered by every major program for nothing. He’s very talented. Sometimes players need a fresh start.

I sure thought this guy would be the next Terrace Marshall Jr. Whether he just doesn’t have the ability or didn’t work hard enough or both—is irrelevant. I was wrong on that.

Hope he takes advantage of the fresh start.

He just didnt seem physical enough and was still very raw to play the level of ball that is expected at LSU from what i saw.

Youre not just going to out athlete teams in the sec at the wr spot. Being fast and jumping high are great but there is so much more that is expexted of a starting wr at our level...which is why alot of players...alot highly ranked as well...dont pan out here. The competition is fierce.

This is good for all involved, I guess except the big schools who lose some depth (assuming they weren't told to look elsewhere).

It also hurts the 2-3 star HS kids who would be good contributors at ULL but get passed over because Howard and Sampson were "former 5 stars."

Way too much credit is given to high school evaluations.

They wont play if they arent good enough. Khai Prean for instance is already leaving Tulane because he cannot play there

Harvey Broussard transferred out of ULL to Houson. He was in the same class as Sampson. The 47th ranked player in LA that year, vs Sampson at 4.

these kids are fine, they have every option at their fingertip

Being tall doesn’t make you a physical freak
