QB doesnt matter when the schedule is softer than charmin. Brian kelly could be their QB and they still win 10 games

What good would playing a bottom tier team do for anyone in the running for anything win or lose?

it was backlash from the Sorsby ruling with conferences directing their schools not to schedule games with TT...it was not from what you are implying that schools are "scared" to play TT...

One team saw no benefit from playing Tech and honestly, I cannot blame them. It was a no win situation for them. Beat Tech - doesn't help. Lose to Tech - doesn't help.

TT schedule isn't going to do them any favors even if they win out or lose a game. If they finish 11-1 I don't think they get in with that charmin schedule.
