IMO,LSU goes hard for Haven & Nuss. They get Nuss as Haven goes to any Power 5 that has surplus NIL.

I'd like Houston and Nuss. Better use of NIL.

Why not this:
Haven-Michigan
Houston-USC
Nuss-LSU
Zeigler-LSU

I'd be delighted with those two!

More likely. Houston loves USC. Depends on Riley and their NIL deals being on the up and up. Lots of rumors they're promising money they will be unable to get passed through. Jonas Williams may be up for grabs later for this cycle.

Of all four including Zeigler, I want Haven and Houston, that's it. Now it could change in 2 years, but this is my current stance.

I'd be pretty bummed if we don’t get either of the two.

Houston would be a 5 star QB if he was 6'2 IMO. That kid looks smooth as hell throwing and running. I think he could lead LSU to the playoffs as a redshirt freshman. Think Tua, but a better runner. Hell, he could likely start for LSU as a true freshman depending on who we have on roster.

Haven needs polish, but his upside is #1 overall. 900 rush yards and 19 TDs as a sophomore while being 6'5 215 and putting up those numbers through the air gives me Jayden Daniels vibes. Daniels was a stat machine in high school.

Gun to head...Im going with Houston now. Hopefully he hits a growth spurt and gets to 6'1, but it's not necessary for LSU. He's listed 5'11, but i always take one away based on high school heights. He's in the same range of Russell Wilson, Kyler Murray, Bryce Young, and Tua. These are all NFL QBs, 3 of them are already on or have already had big 2nd contracts, 3 of them are top 5 picks, and the only non 1st round pick is a super bowl champ and possible HOFer.

I really hope LSU doesn't doesn't make Houston seem like 2nd fiddle.

Haven has to be the top priority. He is a guy you really can’t afford to have leave the state. An instate 5 star QB is not a guy you put on the back burner.

There’s no way in hell you let Haven walk out of town. His upside is Cam Newton. He has to be #1 priority

I remember after underwood commited to Michigan haven did an interview either before or after one of his games and said how it’s cool to see how he stayed home. He seems like a kid if we go all in on grabbing we can land. Simply a matter of if the staff prefers him or baby Nuss. Don’t think we’re in the run for Houston like that tbh

You are lying, you don't know anything about Haven or Houston, on here speculating. Just be honest you prefer Baby Nuss because he would come with no drama.

Eli has always wanted to go to LSU. There’s no leverage, they can’t get a 2026 QB because he’s in the boat

That’s such a hard question, they’re all incredibly good.

I guess if I HAD to choose, I would go with Haven or Nuss at the moment.
I’m not sure who we end up with though. Seems like we are pretty heavy on Nuss right now.

Houston won't be at lsu imo. But how would lsu not get haven if they are passing on houston?

100% Haven will be a Tiger. And he will be the best of the 3.

I agree with Haven as a top priority, but he is an elite talent and we just do not know what will make him pull the trigger ( other than NIL) on his final choice. He might not decide till the last minute. I think it will be a difficult recruiting process for land him.
That said, LSU has to go full throttle for at least 3-4 and in hopes of landing 1. Portal will get another if needed.

Talked to an Evangel player a few weeks back that said USC has biggest offer on the table for Houston. Take that for what its worth.
