I really like Haskins confidence (not referring to this tweet)
I want a quarterback with all the confidence in the world, even to the extent of almost cockiness. I don't care at this point. We need a guy like this to lead the team. I miss Tyrann's swag on defense. Would love to see it on the offensive side.

Yes. A Qb needs to have a little swagger to him. I like it.

So ready for the dead period to be over with.

A high school kid saying "due diligence"? He sounds smart!

Haskins, who threw for 3,066 yards and 36 touchdowns during the past two seasons, hit his targets with more precision than anyone on this list not named Shea Patterson. That's exactly what we've witnessed while scouting him in the past, and his consistency endured at Elite 11 finals.
He decidedly beat out LSU pledge Feleipe Franks and South Carolina commit Brandon McIlwain for the bulk of snaps on his seven-on-seven squad. Haskins read his progressions well and rarely lofted the football into dangerous territory, delivering darts with impressive touch as needed.

He's probably heard "due diligence" a thousand times this year from coaches and supporters.

A lot of noise for Ohio State recently.

After watching his highlights I'm really REALLY hoping we can get him. He's familiar with I formation, he has strength and escapability but is not a scrambler(a lot like J Russell), strong arm, accurate, smart. For the first time in a few years I didn't watch a QB highlight video and think, "looks great-too bad we don't run a spread offense." This kid's a gem. Come on, Cam!

Is there an OSU recruiting board where we can go and see what updates their insiders are providing?

Could be. At least he learned how to use the phrase.

To me, he clearly looked to be the most talented and ready QB of the group and by a margin. The others looked like they were weaker in reading progressions. I literally thought to myself, "I'd rather have Haskins." Please let this come to fruition.

Urban only want a qbs who are like running backs he doesn't want a pocket Passer.

Haskins was the best fit for LSU even before Franks and Patterson were in the picture. The type of offense he's been in is nearly identical to LSU's. He's super accurate. Has all the physical tools. Is one of the best qb's in this class absolutely.

He went to Bullis in Potomac near DC; it's a good private school.
The Bethesda/Potomac area is very well educated. Highest college degree per capita numbers in the country. All of the high schools there, even the public ones, are good.
