Boooo...
I was hoping he could be a late add.

Best of luck to the dude. Heard good things about him. Perhaps he’ll ball out at Memphis and should he feel the desire for a bigger platform, Kelly will welcome him with open arms

Louisiana produces a lot of good football players …especially at wide receiver

not sure why we offered Kai Prean over this kid. Broussard is a freaking stud

This is going to be one we look back at in 2 years and wish we had offered.

This is the way I look at it. The way Kelly is approaching the portal he likes to emphasize LA kids that want to come home. If a kid like Broussard balls out at Memphis, he might be looking for a bigger destination in the P5 down the road. That destination could very likely be LSU with the portal.
Greg Brooks, Joe Foucha, Kyren Lacy were all LA kids we didnt think were good enough to come here but ended up getting in the portal down the road ultimately.

Good for him. Memphis is a good program and hopefully he does well there. Door is always open to come home in the future though.

is his game similar to Damonte Coxie 6' 3" 200 lbs. who prepped at Tara and ESJ ? That cat balled out for Memphis in 2019 and then quit the team in 2020. Coxie had so much promise and then disappeared. Wish Mr. Broussard the best as he should get immediate PT in Memphis.

Yall we have legit studs though. The guys we got look amazing to me. Elite speed everywhere.

I wish these kids would stay in state if they are going to a P5. Preferably to the Cajuns, but I get the allure of getting away from home.

You wish him the best and keep contact open, let him practice at LSU in summer etc , you never burn bridges now and are always recruiting until they are out of eligibility, we should be a good friend to all Louisiana kids that don’t sign with a bitter rival, and even then don’t burn bridges

If any WRs transfer out they need to find a spot for this guy.

Because Prean is also a stud.

Silverfield will need to win 9 games next year to save his job. It should be easier with Cincy, UCF and Houston gone, but there will also be no excuses if he doesn't.
