So why would they be coached to only say that LSU isn’t contacting them? Why not say that about the other schools too? That’s what i don’t understand. Also, what have i said that was “catastrophe syndrome”?

It seems the majority of effort was put into guys signing during the early signing period, and now we're in a dead period. Perkins even said Kelly tried to contact him.

Simple. Player A is used to create the narrative that a staff is lazy and is getting out worked. Saban has done it with many, many kids against Les and O . It’s a well know tactic. Perkins is a kid who can be used as a wedge against LSU because of his interest early and Jimbo is exploiting it because he specifically wants random LSU fans to repeat the narrative because perception is , to an extent, reality. My advice to you- don’t take the bait. If he’s saying it, he’s already gone.

I get what you’re saying, but i kinda believe Denver and Harold in what they said. Even Denver’s dad/stepdad, tack minor, said LSU hadn’t been in contact with them. They got LSU alums lying for them too? I think the more obvious answer is that CBK just put all of his time in to holding the current class and in state guys

He said kelly called him and he was busy doing something else.

You are the fricking “boogeyman of truth” for taking what happens in recruiting during a coaching transition and extrapolating it out into the future as if this will be how it all works going forward? You don’t know shite. Neither do I. No one will until next cycle. If Kelly passes on a bunch of 5 stars then, knock yourself out. However, you are wasting your time fretting over anything that happens this season. It’s not going to be a template for recruiting under Kelly in the future, however that does end up looking.
