Harold Perkins low contact with LSU

In a recent interview, Harold Perkins stated that he has not had a lot of contact from Lsu's side. Feels like a Denver Harris situation all over again.

If you’re not at least concerned about a 5*, top 5 player in the country, that’s been high on your school his whole life- saying in the final month “LSU’s had low contact with me” then you’re lieing to yourself.
Maybe the kid isn't telling the truth for some reason but if he is then this is telling and disappointing.
I think one of the major disappointments in this case is it kinda feels like Brian Kelly’s version of Klavon Chaisson and would be huge for the fan base and morale. Yeah we lost a bunch of instate talent that year like Moses, Allen, Mathis and Devonta but we went out of state and landed Klavon, Jacob Phillips and we locked up Grant Delpit and Kary Vincent.
If we lose Perkins then ok. But dammit go down swinging. If you know you don’t have a coordinator or positional coach I would like to see Brian Kelly make Harold Perkins and Jacoby Matthew’s his personal targets but maybe I’m asking too much to ask him to recruit those two guys.

Our Head Coach is not going to be playing games with attention seekers he has better things to do. LSU sells itself the old song the show moves on .

They aren’t taking their cues from recruiting websites.
If they aren’t contacting Perkins, then they know it’s over and have moved on.
If you honestly think that coaches are just randomly ignoring a 5-star recruit that is begging them to call him, then you might need to move to the Soccer Board.

I don't think you understand what it takes to be a top-notch recruiter and bring elite talent to a program. Do you think other top program don't "sell themselves" as well?

I have zero doubt that Harold Perkins is not “begging them to call him”
That dude isn’t begging anyone to call him. That’s the thing with recruiting. Typically you have to go convince the kids to come play for you. Usually they’re not begging you to come convince them.
