I hope this young man flourishes in college ball and is drafted highly, and has a long lucrative pro career.

His answers were pretty good. Focused on the question, direct answers. Doesn’t appear stupid to me.
I expected to not like this kid but first interview I kinda do like him. He’s as bling and hype kid and that’s not me but that’s pretty big in high schoolers.

I said all along he was about that money.
I feel like I was somewhat wrong, because at the end of the day I think other things played a factor as well. Playing time was big for him.
This was a huge pick up. He’s a day one starter.

It’s easy to see now that Perkins was not upset with LSU about money. He wanted to be wanted by the coaching staff. He always had LSU in mind, he was just waiting for them to pickup steam and for the bond with the staff.
