Can I pass on some info from a "premium" site without getting my hand slapped by Chicken? The Kiel family remains in contact with LSU and has contacted them in the past few days to have questions answered. (Family can initiate calls to schools during the dead period.) LSU staff considers it to be in their favor if the commitment lingers and they have more time to answer detailed questions and to sell LSU.

If I can trust certain trusted posters on Scout, then there is good reason to be very optimistic
Reading between the lines, the kid wants to announce Christmas day,,but his decision has been made.
I don't know that for fact, because I haven't been to the Kiel house or the Les Miles house to ask point blank questions
so beyond juicy tidbits that have been posted and removed, I guess one can say it's a "rumor"...

Page Update: As the Recruting Board Turns, word is bhlem was stating a rumor, not a fact, that Gunner has already committed to Les Miles. But you guys hit the refresh button at least 20 times before it was determined to be a rumor. Suckers. Apex thinks rumors on the scout board could hold water (confirming bhlem).
A couple of posts stating he is a ND lock to keep people interested in posting. Vandy fans seem to think that he will commit to Vandy and ND. :coo-coo:
A poster will go shoot pistols today, but today’s technology will allow him to keep updates on his brother’s phone. Sounds fun, but be careful. I don’t think it is against the law to text while firing a deadly weapon, but it sure sounds dangerous.
Some Navy fan has the board name LockdownDefense, which is just insulting here on a LSU board. LSUGoose is afraid to get RA’d on some widely known info on the Gunner situation.
On a side note, what IS the largest score anyone has ever received on Bejeweled Blitz?

Look at it like this, Notre dame just lost their OC and qb coach. They have a returning qb starter that will be a sophomore.
Vandy will never play for anything and their head coach could bolt any minute.
Lsu has coaching continuity, probably one of the best if not the best qb coaches around. The best facilities and academics (behind vandy in the sec) and we are loaded and poised for next year.
At worst, he comes to lsu and sits behind mett for two years while he gets five years to play four. Both starting qb's graduate so he would really only have to battle with rivers.
Seems like a no brainer to me
