My mom and my girlfriend are cooking and doing other work around the house. I stirred cranberry sauce in a boiler for at least six minutes when my mom answered the phone. To my dismay, I was told my stirring skills were lacking and it was time for me to get out of the kitchen.

Coming to this thread was the most productive thing I could do. Sure, I do need to pay a couple of bills before the holidays. I do need to pack for a three day trip. There's that rough draft of my great American novel that I could be revising. Hell, I could be taking the car to be filled up and cleaned.

I have priorities. Everything else can wait. After I saw Rummy was in the thread, I knew my instincts were on point. This is where I need to be.

Merry Christmas guys, and Gunner, if you're reading this, Merry Christmas to you and yours. Take your time. Weigh it all out. Make the right decision and dive into it full bore. Looking forward to seeing you wearing some shade of gold in the future.

bhelm is a good guy and wouldn't say that unless he really believed it. he's an optimist for sure but he wouldn't put out info that he knew to be false.

damn i hope we end up with kiel i can't help but shake the feeling that he'll end up at ND though.

Page Update: Chinese58 admits to being addicted to the recruiting board today. Gorilla cleans up and has a revelation that he commits on the 26th. Looks like I need to send out a flock of 7 pelicans his way to figure out where he commits.

After news that Gunner will make his commitment on Wednesday (Gino’s Twitter ), a couple of posters feel better knowing now that the announcement will be made on Christmas. (maybe Jewish? )

Some members of the board make the assumption that certain people don’t know what they are talking about on Twitter. Others are desperate for Gunner to give us a sign, so we can discuss the future of the Tiger offense at the Christmas table instead of some boring political debate.

The thread does seem to be slowing down a bit. I guess now that it’s past Otter’s 11 0’clock deadline, most are taking the wait and see approach. But wait, a poster on Tiger forums (bhelm) may have some inside information that Gunner has contacted Les that he will be coming, but will announce it not on Wednesday, but on Christmas day. Like the fans don’t have something better to do that day. I guess they will just need to stay in tuned As the Recruiting Board Turns.
