Would you be upset if we get Goodrich, but lose out on Surtain?

Yes. Surtain is THE top DB in the country.

Having said that, I do like Goodrich and think he has a lot of potential.

We could really use both. Despite what rantards tell you, DB is a bigger need in this class than QB.

I don't understand the question. Do you mean would we be upset if we take Goodrich INSTEAD of Surtain???? Bc I can assure that's not happening.....

Maybe you’re new here, but this is a really bad question. I think Goodrich is a heck of a player, but there are very few kids that possess the talent and football IQ that surtain has. He’s a very rare talent that doesn’t come along often.

Surtain would be the third highest rated player to sign with LSU in the last 10 years!

Fournette and Shepard were the only two ranked higher.

He will be Patrick Peterson 2.0 so I hope he does it for us. "Tre Whites" are awesome and we're lucky when they sign with us, but they're still not PP7.

PP7 is arguably the top corner in history. I seriously doubt Surtain is that level, but I hope you’re right.

I think this was a poor way of asking how well Goodrich would soften the blow if we miss on Surtain.

Not very, imo. But it would help. Also would depend on who else we picked up.

A little but mostly for perception reasons. Surtain is the better prospect but I don't think its as distant as many think. Wait until the new rankings, very good chance Surtain isn't even the highest ranked CB on his team. Virtually a lock on 247. Wiltfong has said as much.

Patrick Peterson is the GOAT as far as pro careers but I would argue in college Webster and Mo Claiborne and maybe even tee white were just as good.

Surtain and Goodrich are both coming to LSU, so the question is irrelevant.

I agree. Pp7 was very good here and a great ambassador but his career as a corner at LSU is vastly overrated. He was a great return man but far from great as a cover guy. His awesome physical abilities kind of create a better impression than he actually left as a corner. Claiborne was superior as a corner at LSU. Not really close imo

Hahaha hell no. Patrick peterson was the best corner to ever play at lsu, there's no question about it.
